The Last of Us: Remastered review round-up

Naughty Dog’s hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 edition of The Last of Us is almost upon us, and reviews have started to drop online ahead of the game’s release on July 29 and August 1 in the U.S. and U.K. respectively.

The Last of Us: Remastered features a stunning visual overhaul for the post-apocalyptic adventure, including 1080p visuals running at 60fps. In addition, it also includes a slew of downloadable content, including the celebrated single-player expansion, Left Behind.

Of course, the original PS3 release was highly praised among critics and gamers alike, and has sold seven million copies worldwide to date. But how successful was the game’s transition to Sony’s latest home console? Is it the remaster we were all hoping for?
