Eidos unveils Tomb Raider: Underworld teaser trailer

Eidos has released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming eight instalment in the critically acclaimed Tomb Raider franchise, Tomb Raider: Underworld.

Seen below, the video splices all-new gameplay footage with short clips from the development team, as well as showcasing some early concept art depicting various locations such as the jungle and underwater stages.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics, this latest entry in the popular adventure series will once again pit gamers in the shoes of Lara Croft, as she embarks on an investigation into a series of ruins in Southern Mexico.

Here, Croft inadvertently stumbles across a portal to the underworld dimension, Xibalba, which opens during the five days of Wayeb on the Maya calendar. The game will also allow players to visit locations such as Australia, Easter Island, and Rome, with areas set "in places no-one has seen for centuries.”

Tomb Raider: Underworld is due out on November 18.

    It actually looks but might give it miss till next year or even try ou the demo if one does come out before the release date.

    eh. Sure it looks good but all I'm really seeing is a better animated bootywiggle when she walks, it really dosent feel any cooler than the half dozen games that came before this.

    I'm on the edge. @Paranoimia if u played Uncharted, what do u like better. That or the Tomb Raider series?

    psn id: gingo... that was a very impressive trailer and although it showed no gameplay i think this coulsd be a masive title
