U.K. Charts: Sleeping Dogs denies Tekken Tag 2

Namco Bandai’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has punched its way into the U.K. All Format Charts at number two, having been denied the top spot by Sleeping Dogs.

The "slimmer" PS3 model is real, and we've got the first details straight from Tokyo Game Show 2012. President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House has confirmed that the "slimmer" PS3 model is real, and will come to North America very soon.

Sony promised us PlayStation Plus support on PS Vita, and now it aims to deliver. Announced at the Tokyo Games Show 2012, PlayStation Plus is coming to the PS Vita in November. PS Vita owners who opt in will receive benefits such as Instant Game Collection and heaps of discounts.

BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn has confirmed that fresh DLC for Mass Effect 3 is in the pipeline, among which includes the single-player offering Omega.

Team Ninja unveils Ninja Gaiden Z

Team Ninja has joined forces with Spark Unlimited and Keiji Inafune to produce Ninja Gaiden Z; an all-new entry in the bloody hack-‘n-slash franchise featuring cel-shaded visuals.

Dark Souls Artorias of the Abyss coming to PSN, XBL

Dark Souls’ Artorias of the Abyss content will be released for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE in October 2012, Namco Bandai Games has announced.

Metal Gear Rising demo coming in October, included with ZoE HD Collection

Konami has announced that the Zone of the Enders HD Collection will launch on October 30, and will include a demo of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Raiden's spin-off adventure takes place after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4, and will revolve heavily around a freeform cutting mechanic pioneered by Platinum Games.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX confirmed

According to Editor-in-Chief Tony Garsow, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will not be playable in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. Instead, cutscenes from the game will be "HD-ified" and viewable in a Theater mode of sorts.

Okami HD gets PSN release date

Capcom has announced that Okami HD will be released on the PlayStation Network on October 30, 2012, priced $19.99. Originally released on PS2 in 2006, Okami was critically acclaimed for its unique gameplay and gorgeous Japanese Sumi-e ink art style.

Already, some PlayStation-Certified devices, like the Sony S Tablet and the Sony Ericsson Play cell phone, have a PlayStation Mobile store, but the complete PSM store will be available next month

Dragon’s Dogma universe expands with Dark Arisen

Capcom has confirmed that a major expansion for Dragon’s Dogma will be released in 2013. Entitled Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, there’s some confusion as to whether it will be a sequel or an expansion of the original.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time release date confirmed, pre-order bonuses revealed

After an unceremonious delay that had Sly Cooper fans reeling with anticipation, Sony has announced the final release date for the roguish raccoon's fourth adventure. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will launch in North America on February 5, 2013, and in Europe sometime in March.

Gravity Rush is among the best titles on PlayStation Vita, and has garnered dozens of positive reviews (including a score of 8.5 here on PSU). If you enjoyed the gravity-defying gameplay and Franco-Belgian comic art style, cross your fingers - a sequel sounds like a possibility.
