GTA V review round-up

16 September 2013

Rockstar’s kept us waiting nearly two years, but Grand Theft Auto V is almost upon us. The hotly-anticipated crime sequel arrives at midnight, carrying with it the weight of expectation of millions of gamers worldwide. And boy, does it look like the ultimate package. With three playable protagonists, a game world that is said to eclipse any other previous Rockstar title to date in scope, and a host of new features and activities to indulge in, GTA V is easily the most ambitious sandbox game ever conceived.

But is it actually any good? Has Rockstar delivered on its lofty goals and months of promise? The Internet has spoken, with the first reviews for GTA V having gone live today, and we’ve compiled a list of them for you below.

PSU.com is still scrutinizing Rockstar’s crime behemoth as I write this very article, so stay tuned for our own review in the coming days. Keep an eye out for our taster article soon, courtesy of U.S. wordsmith, Kyle Prahl.

For now, here’s a taster of what everyone else is saying about it. Enjoy.
