PlayStation 4 has already gotten off to a stellar start following its launch last November, with 4.2 million hardware units shifted across the globe. Starting its first full year on the market in such an auspicious position isn’t something Sony has really enjoyed since the PS2 days, and in terms of software, PS4 looks ready to step up to the plate and impress. However, while we’ve already indulged you in what titles we are guaranteed to look forward too, there’s still the small matter of many as-yet unannounced games that Sony has up its sleeves -- and that’s why we’re here now.
So, while the likes of inFAMOUS: Second Son and Dragon Age: Inquisition have us salivating, there’s still plenty more tantalizing titles occupying our thoughts. With that said, here are 5 games we’d like to see announced for PS4 this year.

SYPHON FILTER 4
Back in the early 2000s, Gabriel Logan’s stealth-action antics proved a fitting alternative to Konami’s Metal Gear Solid franchise, though sadly, it wasn’t to endure the same lifecycle as Solid Snake’s seminal adventures. Rumors of a new Syphon Filter cropped up a few years back, though ultimately, the series would skip an entire generation of consoles -- which is why we’re certain Sony would be keen to resurrect it for PS4. Given the fact the last time we saw Logan’s exploits was on PS2/PSP, the franchise is in great need of a mechanical overhaul, and PS4’s extra technical muscle is just the ticket to bring the series up to date.
