The games landing on the PlayStation Store following the refresh on October 20 have been confirmed, courtesy of the PlayStation Blogcast.
And it’s quite a week for PS4 owners yet again with some excellent titles available on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, including Assassin’s Creed’s first venture into London with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the revival of the Guitar Hero series with Guitar Hero Live, and the fifteenth entry in the popular Tales series, Tales of Zestiria.
The full line-up, which is subject to change is as follows:
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – PS4
Everyday life in Victorian London is set to be disrupted as twins Jacob and Evie Frye aim to take back the city from the Templars by infiltrating the criminal underworld. This is the first Assassin’s Creed game where players can switch between two characters and utilise new ways of traversing the environment. Guitar Hero Live – PS4, PS3
Every since we broke the news of Guitar Hero Live’s exciting new direction, we’ve been looking forward to getting our hands on the newly-enhanced guitar peripheral once more. Players can expect a new presentation style which includes live crowds and a Guitar Hero TV mode, as well as a diverse soundtrack featuring artists such as Green Day and Soundgarden. Just Dance 2016 – PS4, PS3
The latest entry in Ubisoft’s Just Dance series includes competitive and co-operative game modes. In Just Dance 2016, players can send their videos to others players and lip-sync to videos, as well as partake in a variety of modes such as Dance Party, Sweat and Playlists and World Video Challenge.
Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations – PS4, PS3
Based on the animated T.V. series Adventure Time, players explore the Land of Ooo, including players like Fire Kingdoms, Wizard City and Castle Lemongrab, and interact with characters, solve puzzles and defeat enemies. This is also the first time that a game in the series will feature 3D environments.
Arcade Archives: Cosmo Police Galivan – PS4
The series of emulated arcade games continues with this sci-fi themed side-scroller. Players need to move through an alien cave system picking up upgrades that improve abilities while seeing off the enemy threat.
Hasbro Family Fun Pack – PS4
Hasbro are bundling some of their most popular games into one ‘fun’ bundle. You’ll get Monopoly, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit and Risk which have been given a 3D makeover. There’s also leaderboards, news feed and trophies to unlock.
Organ Trail Complete Edition – PS4, PS Vita
This zombie survival game adopts a retro style and can be played with up to four friends. The idea is to try and stay alive by killing zombies and bosses, while scavenging for supplies.
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil – PS4
The fantasy action role-playing game from Codemasters is a spin-off of previous games in the Overlord series. In Fellowship of Evil, the action takes place from a top-down isometric view as players call minions into battle once more.
Pocket God vs Desert Ashes – PS4, PS Vita
A crossover of the Desert Ashes and Pocket God series, this turn-based strategy game features a pygmy army who are tasked with defending their territory.
