Got 5 bucks that says the s--t ain't workin'.  This is waaay later than usual.  Either that or they anticipate huge download volume (which has never been handled properly) and are trying to avoid looking bad by releasing it later in the day than usual (which won't work when dorks are willing to stay up just to see, for instance, if Home is released or something big event like that).

Still not up.  This system sucks, period.  The PS3 is a damned disaster.

a really god weekly update. three demos is always a good thing. try to spread them out more. a really amazing thing is if sony could garenty a new demo every week.

Qore is a nice deal but I won't bite unless I know I'm getting something worth my while, say early Home or LBP beta.

I am personally sick and tired of other companies especially Gametrailers, G4tv, etc for the way they have treated the PS3 and the poor report on its games.PSU has done a fine job in keeping us PS3 gamers informed about all thins PS3. But most of the other sites mainly show content for third party software for the xbox360 which is understandable because here in America it is leading in sales so Qore might be what i am looking for for all content for my PS3. Why should i care about video comparisons and listen to snotty remarks from underpaid gaming journalists. Not anymore because i got Qore. Anyway gaming is gaming.

Well crap, I was all ready to spend my $9.99 for Commando 3 (and possibly the $24.99 for Qore), but I guess it'll have to wait until I get home tomorrow night.

Come on fellas, you all know Sony can't keep original release dates for anything involving the PS3. Crazy "New" Technology!!  It started before they even released the thing.

I've had this thing since launch and all it has amounted to is a 25% version of Gran Turismo (that had no business costing $40), MLB The Show 08, Warhawk and Uncharted.  COD4 doesn't count because it was just as good on the other system.

The xbox360 is a disaster because it DOES break all the time. If i really have to play their “uber-cool” games, I can just buy them for my PC. If you are dumb enough to buy that outdated piece of crap, more power to you, but the PS3 will keep outselling the 360 worldwide because hardware is solid and so many people want to play MGS4, Littlebigplanet, GT5, SOCOM, God Of War3, FF13 etc.

1) Sorry to tell you guys this, but the 360 has gotten over the hardware woes since as far back a February.  It's just not the case anymore and you can't use it anymore.  Trust me, I've been paying attention.

2)  The 360 can (and has, virtually) fixed it's hardware issues but Sony's issue with developers making bad ports is going NOWHERE (just like Xbox1 Vs. PS2), and will plague the system for it's entire life.  The PS3 may take a lead but will never crush the 360 to the point where developers stop caring about how they have to dumb-down games for cross-platform prodcution.  In simpler terms for you dummies to understand, the PS3's power does not matter because the 360's install base is too big to ignore, whether it leads or not.  AND IT IS LEADING.  Not only that, but if the PS3 DOES last ten years (hah!), MS has already started another console, and what do you think is going to happen to the 6-year old PS3 against the Next-box?

3) Don't start with that listing of games garbage your dorks like to do.  I'm so sick of people who list a bunch of games that will come out in 2020 as a reason to stick with this bottle-necked machine.  GOW3 and FF13?  Give me a break.  Though it had a slow start as well, It didn't even take this long to get their predecessors (GT3 A-Spec and FFX) on the PS2!  LBP is the overrated elephant in the room.  Innovative?  Sure.  But SO WAS EYE OF JUDGEMENT, and I don' see that thing selling 5 million copies bro, sorry.  No game deserves that much hype.  People were all excited to plat GTA4, talking about how it was a 10 and such.  You know what everyone in my friends list was on it for 2, maybe 3 weeks.  Next thing you know the future Game of the Year with 100 hours of gameplay gave way and people went back to Warhawk and Call of Duty.  Same thing's gonna happen with Metal Gear.  I'm not knocking the games I mentioned, only pointing out that they only way to combat that is more games, which PS3 CERTAINLY DOES NOT HAVE AND WILL NOT HAVE FOR SOME TIME.  Look at Killzone being pushed back!  Sony knows that if they would have blown their load in Novemberm you're not looking at another game till next November.

It's June!  Holiday 08 starts in 5 short months and the PS3 will be 2 years old.  2 years of waiting for games that AT BEST took 2 days to finish.  If Warner Bros. didn't save Blu-Ray in february, the PS3 would be dead, period.  I have it now, so I'll play MGS4.  After that....come what may.

Who cares if PS3 games don't appeal to you. I don't want a 360 because it's the most unreliable piece of hardware and I have a PC that can play most of the 360's 'exclusives'. Also, the main problem for MS is a lack of imagination. You couldn't really see them coming up with games like ICO, or a concept for changing the way video games are played like EyeToy. This is the one of the reasons why MS can't be successful in Japan and Europe.

No one in the industry (expect MS of course) thinks the 360 stands any hope of coming in anything but a distant last place this generation. Worldwide PS3 has been pretty easily outselling xbox 360 week after week after week after week. How is Xbox 360 going to keep its lead? With Gears of War 2? That's not enough. MS's consoles will never win. As soon as the Xbox came out, my impression was that it was nothing more than a repackaged Intel based PC. Also consider the only part of the world that really buys xbox's is the US and that just = FAIL.

I noticed you replied to one of my other comments, and apparently you don't like it when somebody points out obvious problems with something. You think I'm an "xbot" because I criticized Sony for canning 2 first party exclusive, and taking forever and a day to release in game xmb. Wake up man, we as PS3 owners have the right to be upset when we invest in a product and that product consistently lowers our expectations. I don't hate the PS3! I own one, and I like it. But it doesn't mean I won't give criticism when its completely obvious that we have a right to be upset.  You seem to be in bed with Sony or something, because I also like how your talking about the xbox = fail. Funny because last time I checked, every multi platform game that's released sells better on 360(worldwide). I own  both consoles like I said, so I buy games accordingly. The reality is that the 360 has ALREADY won this "console war" you speak of. When MS releases their "next box" in 2010, there goes Sony's 10 year plan. I'm not hating on the PS3, I'm just telling you the truth. Besides, who cares who "wins"? Just have fun with what you got. Although I think it would suck if all I owned was the PS3. You are right about the PC though, alot of 360's exclusives eventually launch on the pc. It's a good thing, but PC games never sell as well as the console versions.
