Ok, so I didtn like the online username I had so I created a new Master Account and another user name. Well, now all my downloaded games that I paid for dont work. I get an error message saying the owner rights could not be verified or something to that effect.

I tried deleting one of them and no good.

I called Sony support and they said that the two master accounts where causing a confict and my system didnt know which if any had the rights to the games. They then said they would have a tech get back to me in 48 hours. Well its going on 1 1/2 weeks now and still no call back. I have called like 4 times. Everytime I get the same response and a tech will respond in 48 hours.

Does anybody know what I can do to fix this?

We'll get back to you in 48 hours. ;)

Nahh. I don't know. Have you explained to them that they keep saying they'll get back to you but never do?

This is interesting because I just made another master account. I haven't used it yet though. Maybe I should just delete it before I screw something up.

I've got three master accounts but no sub accounts. Never had trouble with any of them. All the games work with them. You'd think they'd be a bit more helpful.

Thats interesting. The reason I did it is because when I first called they said to do that. Which seemed fine. Then after the mess up they said you can only have one master account per system. Did you guys set your master accounts up with the same email address and username or did you use different usernames and email addresses with each?

To the OP: When making a new account you should have selected "create account from an allready existing account"

Thanks! Is that on the very left hand side of the XMB or the right side where you do that? I get confused between the usernames (on the left) and the user accounts (on the right)

My genuine Uk account I used my online nick and a valid email. A second master (US) account I just made another name up and used my g/fs email address, got zip codes etc off google. And the third master (Japanese) account I made up another name (a right bizarre one cos they'd all been taken :D), put in valid addresses andused fake email address because I never had to reply to any confirmation emails I recieved from the other two accounts.

But that was for the purpose of downloading demos from other stores.
