View Full Version : Official PSP Firmware 3.73 Released

Sony has released PSP firmware 3.73 over at the official PlayStation Japan website. It appears only to be a minor update — stay tuned for more details surrounding that. No doubt 3.73 will be available worldwide very soon.
Furthermore, it’s reported _HellDashX_ has decrypted firmware 3.73 already, which doesn’t really surprise me. The known track record: Sony releases a new firmware; said firmware is decrypted hours or even minutes after its release; a day or two later a new custom firmware is available — if it’s worth it. So with that in mind, perhaps we’ll see one shortly.

Keep those updates comming SONY. Your just getting a little tight on firmware space :mrgreen:
40mb internal flash memory would have been a better option.

I had 2.0 until 3 days ago when I finally got a new memory card transfer dealy-o, I'll deal until at least 3.8, probably 4.

It's available here. I went to network update and it asked if I wanted to update to 3.73.

Yup I went to the North America version of the site as soon as I read the thread. I keep my system up to date as I have no interest in firmware or anything of the like.

I think this was a small one just tweaking some of the things from the last update. I believe the whole theme stuff was adjusted on this one.
