Has anyone heard about the game F.E.A.R. Its an FPS with the best graphics on the market. Its all about ghosts and paranormal stuff, and it has the best gunfights i've ever seen. The A.I. is really smart, they actually know how to flank and cover. If you want a sick F.P.S. this is it. It makes Halo and Half-life look like James Bond:Nightfire, which is still pretty good. We gotta start spreadin' the fear.

Well you can look for other topics on FEAR in this area. We have been talking about FEAR quite a lot for a PC game. It pushes Video Cards very hard even the best video card out there now (7800 GTX 512) can only push 31 FPS with EVERYTHING on Max and the res at 1600X1200. That is with some powerful hardware.
Dual SLI 7800 GTX would be able to make easy work of it though, Any how it looks Great still on my 6600 AGP 8x, at a playable 30 FPS at 600x800
Yea, it looks like an outstanding game but even with all the right hardware it seems to still require alot more. Im hoping this comes to the 360, then I'll get excited about it.
I really don't like it that much. I've got it, and the gameplay is rather repetitive, and I don't really care for the online mp either. One question though: why can't I set the resolution to 1440x900? It only goes up to 1024x768.
hmmm it didn't seem to batter my card too much (geforce 7800 gtx 256mb) only slow down i had was when i had about 15 tabs on firefox open and steam then alittle stuttering in a massive battle

The game is freaking sweet, even my rusty radeon 9600 plays it on a low setting!
If you really want to know what I think of it then here you have it:

Running the game on max settings (1024x768) was perfectly fine on a 7800GT at 60+ FPS, I never had a drop.

Quad Sli 7800 512Mb GTX would make MORE easier Work and it might even Stay Stable at 120fps or less
