What I really want to see is who will come to the defense of Clemons. ESPN baseball boys were going all out to have this story destroyed, going after the guy who reported it. Lets see what they say now. I want to know who will step and defend their name? So far no one has did it when Conseco's book came out, now what about this?

2 things

1 Notice all the yankee players

2 Why is Jason Grimsley on there like 2 or 3 times?

All i know is the same thing will happen as always. The good players aka the overpaid players will get off the hook with a paris hilton slap on the wrist and the sucky aka players never given a chance will be the ones punished if anyone. They will start with the crappy players just to show fans that they are doing something....

All i know is i want all this to end as a fan. Im tied of worrying about my favorite players like pujols might be accused and such because everyone knows im a fan of them, next thing you know they get accused and all you hear is "he cheated this and that" etc...Just get rid of theese guys and get over this crap please. No more lists, no more accusing players, no more trying to get baseball in the news the wrong way, JUST STOP.

Not saying the list is valid, like I said I pulled it off the gaf, but next time do research. Seriously the 2nd name on the list should have proven you otherwise

I still love Clemens as a player and nothing will change my mind on that, similar to Barry Bonds.

Here is what I don't like. Clemons lawyer is doing all the talking. If your innocent, and falsely accused, then why not hold a press conference and state your innocence. Having your lawyer talk for you means your hiding something. Prove your innocence dammit!!!

Its not the case of you murdering someone and your lawyer has to talk for you....this is your reputation, your name and your career on the line, NO LAWYER NEEDED.

Whats interesting about this report is Mitchel is part of the Red Sox Organization in some form (forget what). There is still something wrong with this report from what I've read and heard through radios and internet. They spent $20 million on this? Are you f'n kidding me?

Most of it comes from players talking to players, to players to players...then there are trainers and so on. So its still questionable.

OMG it has Jose Conseco, Jason Giambi, Barry Bonds? Really...wonder what gave that away? Wonder where McGuire and Sosa are? These two should have been the top two.

No thats not what im saying. I was just playing around stating all the yankees all the list. Gary Shefield, Clemens, giambi etc...

Another thing i dont like is his "rep" keeps saying he felt so sad and such about the accusation, yet he isnt showing it at all. He just goes and gets this guy and hides in his house.

Its baseball, they overpay for anything and everything because they can. ;) Though im thinking the exact same thing. None of this can be proven yet AGAIN, they have no known true to the heart solid facts. They have facts but not strong enough to take down theese BIG names. Not only that but who are they asking? PLAYERS, probably players that want to see theese players go down or got paid to do so, you cant just go by word of mouth.

Not only that but to me it seems like they put theese names on here just to get noticed and to make it seem like something is getting done. Nothing will happen yet again....Your right. They put Bonds on here but not Sosa or McGuire? Both of which have more facts that it was done than Bonds himself.

I just wish ESPN would get their hands out of their pants and stop talking about this crap already. So some players took steroids, punish them and get it over with already. Obviously, the general public doesn't really care or attendance records wouldn't have been high all year compared to previous years.

This was such an elaborate waste of time and Tax Payer dollars. I'm beyond disgusted that this had to happen, and take place. JUST to tell all of us what we already pretty much knew.

What a fricken' joke.

All he did was buy some cream that he then applied to his knees. He said he didn't know it had steroids and that it didn't make him any stronger.

I didn't say that it was impossible, he could be doing now for all I know. I just can't imagine him on it. Maybe its a bias on my part because he is on my Tigers, but I just can't see it.

haha Conseco is mad because A-rod isn't on the list, now I'm not going to say A-rod is clean just because he isn't on the mitchel report, in fact anyone not listed still could be on something because the Mitchel report is just the tip of the iceberg but wtf at Conseco's personal vendetta against A-rod. Since when did he piss in Conseco's cherios ?

As a Tigers fan myself, I can

In addition, anyone who saw Ivan Rodriguez before/after Steroid testing knows he was on something....but stopped

Luckily he is talented enough to still hit for a solid average with above-average defense.

How about we just classify everyone a steroid user and move on. No one can prove anything unless you have hard evidence (written, receipts, tapes...etc), not even the people accusing the person.

jakncoke

Funny thing is basically everyone in the Mitchel report was there because of receipts, have these people ever heard of not leaving a paper trail? Why in eff were they not using straight cash?

Ive been thinking the same thing JB. It makes no sense. Its funny to see all the checks with there names on it. They totally could have did this with cash.

Some of the accusations had evidence while a good bit was just hearsay....which I would be irate as a player if I got put on that report from someone who had "heard" from someone else that they used

If you have been in the real world for long, you know that a lot of things passed between two people are rarely 100% accurate

What is this "REAL" world you speak of? I thought my mind was connected to some imaginary world controlled by the machines? Where is Morpheus when you need him?

Anyways, maybe they should have used a "Paper Shredder" to get rid of the evidence...oh wait...Credit cards leaves a long paper trail.

The list is incomplete imo. No Red Sox players (Mitchell's team), no Brewers players (Selig's team), no Rangers players (President Bush's team before he was guv). Wheres Rafael Palmeiro and Juan Gonzalez?
