The ps3 has some killer games coming out in 08 and later, GT5, Killzone2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 13, and probably more that i cant think of off the top of my head.
These are games that everyoe knows the name of and knows they are ps3 exclusives. So the ps3 is looking very promising in the near future. These games seem to be what everyone is talking about, and is maybe over shadowing what killer exclusive games the 360 is coming out with in 08.
So im here to find out, what KILLER exclusive games the 360 will be dishing out in 08, im curious cause i never hear anything about em?

Your question gets asked a few times weekly, you should do a search, you'll get a ton of threads.
But from what we know right now, there is still a lot of fun games coming down the line. Should be another fun year for everybody.

Dude, there is a thread about 5 threads down that talks about up and coming 360 games.
Why would I need to post "thinly veiled attemps" to talk **** about a system? If I felt like saying negative comments about the X, then I just just would. Simple as that. If I say i'm on the fence about buying the system - it's because I am, end of story. So let's not act like a 15 year old on her monthly - you don't have that luxury.
What better place to ask for games then in a thread asking for them, where 360 users are swarming? Surely you guys can provide DISCUSSION in a DISCUSSION forum to the curious. I'm sure users here would love to gather up to date info from actual owners as opposed to ****ty reviewers with bias opinions.

I think you will be hard pressed to find somebody who hasn't listed the 08 games at least 3 times.
Eventually somebody will answer you, but more often than not people asking the question don't actually care in the first place.
If your different, well then it's just bad timing for you. I will admit somebody normally chimes in with the list, I'm sure Aqua has it somewhere ready to cut n' paste.
And yes I could have written the list instead of this, but I think i would vomit from the boredom of repetition before I got 1/2 way through...

None. We're all trading in our 360's for PS3 because the 360's power has been maxed out and after '07, no more games worth buying are going to be released. '07 was the year of the 360, but '08 through the end of time will be the years of the PS3, PS4, etc.

I dont particpate in any 360 threads, cause i just got my ps3 a few months ago, and only cared, and was to busy with the ps3. But if this is honestly the treatment i get from 360 fans, i really dot want to know. Continue living in your conspiracy theory world.......

I have seen Enacku's posts and he's no troll. In fact that's what I would also do if I was planning on buying a console. Because release dates change, people opinions change, new reviews come, problems are highlighted etc. every week.
I think some people here are being too harsh for no reason.

It really depends on your tastes also. I was thinking of getting an XBox for Mass Effect, now I am not so sure. My point being, as I said earlier, things change frequently. The best thing is to wait for a bit and let things settle down etc. and make a purchase. I almost waited a year before buying a PS3.

Most of the "unproven" games that have recently come out on the 360 have been huge hits. And 60% of those named are "proven" if you will.

Some of the PS3's exclusives for 2008 are relatively unproven/unkown too -- namely Killzone 2 (Killzone 1 was solid...not groundbreaking though) and LittleBigPlanet.
I am not biased towards either console, but as soon as someone shows their bias -- I will correct them.

As I said, I completely understand what you're saying. His true purpose of this topic is hidden by how he worded his original post. Some may or may not catch what he is really trying to do. Which is bring down the 360 in some way, or raise the PS3.
All I'm saying you seemed to have been a bit harsh. But I'm relatively new to the forums, maybe thats how you have to be on this forum?

i remembered some games:
project offset - Rumors going around its 360 exclusive and some of the gameplay vids look really great
Sam and Max Episodes over live - I think we'll start seeing that in 2008 sometime
Gears 2 - I would be really surprised not to see it
Theseis - New Greek Studio working on the game looks interesting, i've had a close eye on it, looks like it could turn out.
WarHound - The physics and animations look top notch, another good looking shooter for next year
Alan Wake - Im sure someones already posted something about this game, looks cool
The Secret World - My personal most anticipated game for 08, from the studio that did Dreamfall
Elveon - Action/RPG which we need more of, not sure if its on ps3 or not, could be
Prizefighter - New Boxing game looking to take the genre more in depth then we've seen it with fight night
Halo Wars - A halo RTS, if they can get the controls down then we may see a great game.
Lost Odyssey - Mystwalker RPG, im not into those JRPG so I don't know much about it
Fable 2 - Looking forward to it, that theme music brings back some memories, I love the world that dev makes
Dead Island - cool idea and gameplay concepts, plus zombies in paradise
Left 4 Dead - another zombie game but these zombies are way faster and it's a valve project so high hopes
APB - the people who made the original GTA and Crackdown cool mmo concept
GTA4 - 360 gets the exclusive content
Ninja Gaiden 2 - It's Ninja Gaiden you should already know
DogTag - Squad based Military shooter, touted as controversial and where the story is just as good as the visuals, from their site

Splinter Cell: Conviction - Looks to take the game in a new direction.
Shadow of Aten - Adventure game, we need them

Its a shame i couldn't afford both, the 360 was basically my front runner of a next gen system but when i heard about those rings i backed off and bought a ps3 for my HDtvs x2. You're best off to just forget about it and not bother going to the 360 section anymore, because in January the consoles production ends as Microsoft begins to focus on developing software for robots.

I agree with taxman...ps2 set a high standard, people are harder on it than the 360. MGS4 can't just be awesome, it has to be brilliant. FF13 can't be awesome, it has to be spectacular. Same goes for GT, and with the world crushing hype killzone has generated, it has to seriously deliver as well.
360 titles are generally more un-known, still breaking ground, still working at defining great games...Fable 2 has to beat Fable, a good game but tons of room for improvement, etc. List goes on, GEARS 2 has to deliver, past that people will be fairly lenient.
I'm not saying it's right, however I think 360 will take the ratings crown again in 08 over all, not saying ps3 isn't going to deliver great games though. Maybe it will be right though, nobody knows....

Look, I didnt come here for a serious discussion, but I suppose I can indulge you.
Ill be honest with you a few months ago, I could certainly see that, but things are definitely changing. Though the 360 will undoubtedly still receive free passes from the score boards, ive been hearing a lot of the opposite as of late by my surrounding peers and thats without me trying to throw them on the band wagon. I think a few of the games that have released recently are causing things to turn around a lot and to be honest, with the playable Demos for KZ2 and MGS4 looking and playing the way they do (according to those who have had hands on), then theres no doubt in my mind that they will be spectacular and cause a change of wind.
Dont get me wrong, Im not by any means saying that the 360 has a bad line up at all and no doubt will there be high scores that are well deserved, but nothing comes close to being nearly as complex as MGS4 (in which all of the games have simply been top notch in my books as well as many others).
And on KZ2's account, what can I say... Im a graphics whore (which most gamers are, Crysis is a good example) and I have yet to see anything that impressed me anywhere near what Kz2's GFX have (outside of their faces of course) and im sorry, but just watching the game being played looks fun, I cant wait to actually play it, but who knows, my opinion may change when I get my hands on it.
The point is, 08 is lined with many not only proven, but leaders of last generation and while they may fail to deliver, that certainly didnt stop people from buying Halo 3...

None. We're all trading in our 360's for PS3 because the 360's power has been maxed out and after '07, no more games worth buying are going to be released. '07 was the year of the 360, but '08 through the end of time will be the years of the PS3, PS4, etc.

To be too honest with you, you come across as if you're not sincere in your question like you do not really, care... If you honestly haven't heard of any KILLER exclusives as you put it then you probably are not truly interested in the first place.
This is my opinion, don't take offense, just the way your post came off.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Some things you should know before you move any further;
1. MS console machine is only in its second generation, MS started their first gen when Sony was already well established into their second year of their second gen.
2. MS have and will continue to make success stories out of "unproven IP's" such as Bioshock, Mass Effect (already sold 1 million copies in 3 weeks), Gears of War, Alan Wake & Halo Wars (nothing like the Halo series, from the guys who made Age of EmpiresŪ) just to name a few...
3. New titles for the X360;
Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake, Banjo-Threeie, Marvel Universe, Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2, Too Human, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Wars FPS (this one I am not 100% sure of), Left 4 Dead, Supreme Commander, Halo Wars, Huxley, Cry On, & GTA4's Exclusive content not available for PS3.
This was from the top of my head.
Note: This isn't a "X360 fanbot response" either, if you want me to defend the PS3 line up I'll do that also, not once did you see me knock the PS3 2008 lineup, however you came into this thread, you with your little knowledge on the matter in my opinion have assumed there is no "killer" titles for 2008 on the X360 and tried to make a point but found that it was rendered a waste of time!

For fun, and my boredome, I will list the games that will probably either sell lots, or get more then a 8.5/10. I dont care about exclusitivity since almost all multiplatform games are better on the 360 anyways....

Endwar,Dark sector, Huxley, Dead space are nothing to be excited about. RE5 is for 2009. FFXIII and GT5 will also probably be in 2009. The strength of both console library will be again decided by new/newish IP's next year (Only Halo 3,PGR4 and R&C were old IPs this year).
Even though 2007 had halo 3 and PGR4 for the 360, for the most part,the games that defined this year for me were Crackdown,Bioshock and Mass effect.

i agree to a point, it was a generalization more than anything that the "big ps3 guns" have their work cut out for them. Expectations are extremely high, after the year ps3 had in 2007 those games are going to be scoured over top to bottom. But yeah of course games get compared across consoles, however I still feel as though xbox games have a bit more breathing room, and less pressure to deliver. I don't think the difference is drastic, I just think it's there, and will be noticeable.

Some of the hype / promises around those big games can bring consequences.
Everybody is waiting for those titles to "save" the ps3 in 08... I'm just saying they will get scored accordingly.

Only just purchased a PS3 (he told us this). The ps3 has some killer games coming out in 08 and later, GT5, Killzone2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy 13, and probably more that i cant think of off the top of my head.
These are games that everyoe knows the name of and knows they are ps3 exclusives. So the ps3 is looking very promising in the near future. These games seem to be what everyone is talking about, and is maybe over shadowing what killer exclusive games the 360 is coming out with in 08.

The PS3 has everything to do with the 360 and vice versa because they are in direct competition. If you prefer the 360 lineup then you're less likely to buy a PS3 because not everyone can afford both. Why do i need to explain this?

You're mistaken about that. Look it up. I can't help noticing that in response to a point i made in THIS thread all you have done is insult me without making any attempt to deal with said point. You've even gone as far as looking up my old posts to find something you can call me out on. It doesn't look good so far.
The point is that there are a ton of "killer" games for the 360 in '08. And a line-up that agrueably is better than the PS3's '08 line-up (I said argueably ;)). There have been at least 4 or 5, maybe more, threads on this topic. Most of them by silly PS3 fanboys (not the OP of this thread) trying to fling poo at the 360.
And like this, the all degrade to the point of being closed because said fanboys aren't happy when they discover that they failed to make their point.

It taking 18 replies is an indication of how trolls aren't tolerated coupled with the fact the information can be found in abundance both on this forum and all over the Net.
Your personal preference as to which you deem is superior is absolutely fine. No one minds or cares, just like you don't really care what mine, or anyone else's personal preferences are towards the games coming out next year. One would expect the PS3 to have a strong offering given the fact that a lot of the strong titles which were touted for this year never materialised and therefore just slipped into 2008. MS has been delivering good titles on a fairly consistent and regular basis for the past 12 months, although the 12 months preceding that weren't of the same standard. This essentially means the PS3 and 360 are about even stevens for the same period in their respective life-cycles.
Ultimately I don't think one list holds sway over the other. I see games on both lists that I'll want and I'm not going to let any stupid childish fanboy war sway my perception. If the game is good - I'll get it. If it's pants - I won't. Simple philosophy.
The lesson learned from all of this is a) if you want to make a 'point' the do so. Don't 'imply', don't try and be snide and b) if you are going to challenge someone's reading comprehension then make sure you're whiter than white. You are wrong about that article. The word was used in entirely the correct context.
If you want respect then show it yourself.

Look at each of the games for what they are and base your decision that way. IMO 360 is what the PS2. devs dumped games on it and expected it to sell. Ps3 i don't see that happening because 1. devs could be lazy, 2. devs might not want to make a port. 3 the game is a 360 exclusive. it seems to me the 360 is overshadowed with shooters that there is barely enough room for anyother genre.

IMO 360 lost its touch of games after halo 3, Gears, another big hit for 360 and another shooter. 360 is the Ps2 because devs can dump any game on it and it might sell. Ps3 you can't because of the energy it takes to develpo a game

Microsoft are keeping thier cards closer to thier chest this time, so are Nintendo, only Sony are throwing out what they have because they had the worst line up this year, and a lot of games slipped, so they need incentive for people to buy now.

Yep. That was obviosuly the intent from the start. To "prove" that there is nothing out there for the 360. Why do they care if they don't want one? I don't get it. Why does one side feel they have to justify their purchase by bashing the other?

The games themselves are good, but it was almost impossible they could meet the expectations set by the hype. The 360 had one too....Halo 3. A very good game but no where near justifying the hype, no where near the best game for the 360 this year and no where near worth some of the review scores I saw (at least not in my book). A great game but not the second coming as the media would have had you believe.

Some won't agree...that's fine..the reason I post that is because I'm telling you now that next year the PS3 will really have some stunning looking games. Looks aren't everything I know, but they are a huge part of the Hi-def culture of this generation of gaming. I would say both consoles this gen are in a very good position to give a great account of themselves and fb's can go stick that in their pipe and smoke it.

The PS3 titles didn't 'bomb' they just didn't live up the fanatical hype before their release. The games themselves are good, but it was almost impossible they could meet the expectations set by the hype. The 360 had one too....Halo 3. A very good game but no where near justifying the hype, no where near the best game for the 360 this year and no where near worth some of the review scores I saw (at least not in my book). A great game but not the second coming as the media would have had you believe.

You stated how many 'bombed' as opposed to the 360's. I'm telling none 'bombed' on either side. Whatever it is you're implying....is wrong :)

I was just responding to natureman3's post to make him look foolish. He really didn't need my help, but whatever we think "bombed" or not is just an opinion and is unimportant anyway.
Hey, can anyone confirm if Banjo Kazooie is coming out in 2008? That game more than any other is the one I'm most interested in seeing. Not saying it'll be the best 360 game in 2008, but I really want to see what they've been working on for the last few years. It'll be great to see a quality game in the 360 library besides Viva Pinata that isn't rated M, a sports game, or a racing game. They need more of these kinds of games, and Rare is in the best position to deliver for the 360.
I'm also really looking forward to seeing more of Alan Wake and Project Offset. Not at all interested in Blue Dragon 2 if they keep it the same as the last one.

Mid to late 08 is what is being said about Banjo Kazooie. Maybe sooner since it was a possibility that it could come out this year.
