3D mark 06

Thought you guys should know that 3d mark 06 is now available for download.
Its incredible, to say the least. HD lighting, all the latest and 'next gen' effects being used, it'll give your pc a heart attack, almost did mine and I have an amd 3200, a geforce 6800gt and a gig of ram.

Are these your screen shots? If so, your computer is nasty. What FPS did you get?

I have downloaded it, but I haven't tested it yet (3200+ @ 2,55, 1 gig, 6600 gt). I'll probably get something between 1500-1700. A 7800 gt 512 mb can get 4500+ points :) .

Too bad the basic version doesn't have complete scenes and atleast in canyon scene it completely misses the most impressive part.

Also some tests i was hoping to see didn't show on basic version like texture fetch.

Tests ran between 1fps-6fps and CPU tests ran about 0.2fps! Yes it is not a typo, 0.2 frames per second or 5 seconds per frame!

As impressive as the screens are, my fps was around 5 to 15 on average.
For the cpu tests I got a consistent 0. :|
