Nintendo AU has reportedly donated a Wii to a 11 year old girl after hearing about her muscle disease but with strong desire to enjoy gaming like everyone else.
When Nintendo heard the story, sources indicate that they shipped a Wii to the family's home promptly.

Taylor Smith is an 11-year-old girl who was born with arthrogryposis, a degenerative muscle disease that essentially gives her no muscle in her arms and legs. It makes daily tasks that you and I take for granted difficult for Taylor, but Taylor doesn’t see it as a hindrance and always manages to get things done

Family friend Tony Watkins wondered if Taylor could enjoy a game of WiiSports with his children, and with a simple four-hairband fastening, Taylor was having fun just like everyone else. Mr. Watkins wrote to Nintendo with the story, and they promptly sent a free Wii console to the Smith home.

Glad Ninty did something nice for this poor kid. :)

What a thoughtful gesture, Nintendo.

A little cruel though, since she can't really play it and all.

I think Ninty had the best interests of the child at hand though, I mean she was playing it with the Watkins children prior so...
