Aresnal lucky today eduardo very good though.
I'd rather keep hold of Lehmann. If he goes and Almunia gets injured, well, it doesn't bare thinking about.
Fabianski?
Im looking forward to the AC Milan games, should be a great battle.
Arsenal is my favorite english team and second one overall (first one is Real Madrid)
Good game today... 2-0

"I have not agreed a move to BVB and at the moment it doesn't look like I will," Lehmann told Kicker.
"If I can get my private matters satisfactorily resolved then I could come, otherwise I won't.
"If I come to Dortmund then it would only be for six months. I want to have complete freedom to decide what I do next in the summer."
thats what he said on the skysports website

Well, the 1st half it was 50-50, no one really created any clear cut chances, and you get the feeling that both teams were cautions. but in the 2nd half we dominated from the word go and we had more lot of chances to score a goal no least when Adebayor hit the bar from theo walcotts cross right at the end of the match.
1-1 at san siro an we're through, we could do it.

I understand Gallas completely, thats the passion that arsenal have lacked for a long time. It may be immature in some peoples eyes but he is showing that he wants to win.
Aston Villa at the emirates should be a bit easier, because of the home crowd and hopefully a bit of time to get over what happened to Eduardo.
I felt like we were going to concede at the end, they suddenly became very shakey and lost their composure again, hopefully they will learn from it. One point is better than none and even if United win, weve got a three point cushion.
If we win at Old Trafford then we will win the league.

As a huge United fan, I have to say I didn't want Arsenal to lose points today. Or rather: I'd rather have seen Arsenal win with Eduardo on the pitch than draw without him. Absolutely shocking what happened to him, I hope he'll be able to play again one day. But let's first hope he'll ever walk again. This shouldn't happen to anyone, rival or not, let alone to a promising young player at the start of a great carreer.

It's hard to tell, from all the varying reports flying around. Some say its broken in two places and the ankle was effectively disattached from his leg apart from a few ligaments, others say he could be in contention for the start of next season.
I suspect it's the former though.
EDIT: Boro Primorac has gone on record at a Croatian website saying Eduardo will be out for three to four months. Thats all I could figure out from the botched translalator I used. For anyone that speaks Croatian:

Why is Martin Oneill such a good manager, we need a bit of a stroll in the park to boost confidence ahead of Milan.
i reckon it will be a close game, maybe 2-1 to arsenal. senderos will probably be partnering gallas so he will need to keep his concentration, and if bendtner plays he should just try and keep things simple instead of trying all the clever flicks and all that.

What is your problem?.. No liverpool fan on this site including myself has stated that beating arsenal and winning CL would be easy. We finished 5th when we won CL so whats your point?....
.....
My original point was that i know Liverpool fans who think they can brush past the top 3 teams to win the CL and how I didn't think they could, at least I think i said that i might be confused...
If anyone is watching....Arsenal and Borough are in the 72nd minute as I type, and Borough is up 1-0. Aliadiere scored against his former club.
Oh an Man Utd are on top of the table by a point.
Rofl Arsenal drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough at Home, lucky as well because they were 1-0 down until the 86th minute.
Oh come on Phaded. If you actually had a clue, you'd know that Arsenal had a completely legitimate goal disallowed AND that the middlesbrough goal was from a freekick which was again unfairly given and that the game was finished with a corner to be played when there was still time to be played (because of the time wasting by middlesbrough.)
Arsenal played better than any of the other title contenders. Thats the second game in recent weeks (birmingham also) which was marred by refereeing incompetence/corruption.
Man Utd are still top of the table on goal diff, they also have a game in hand (against Bolton nonetheless).
Arsenal are bleeding points right now, they've drawn 4 of the last 5!
But the difference between champions is the ability to finish off a game even when your playing your worst, take United today for example, we were battered by Derby most of the game to be fair to them.
But you can't bring up that referee crap, look at how we were knocked out of the FA Cup.
Wow a few weeks ago we were 19 points behind arsenal now its just 8. Don't throw the title away i couldn't bare the SCUM to win it again.

If Manchester United had been given the same treatment by the referee that we were given, they'd have lost. You can go on and on and say that kind of thing, but you are completely wrong. We deserved to win, more than United. We scored the goals necessary. Middlesbrough didn't. The difference between the top of the table at the moment is the referees in a couple of recent Arsenal games (Middlesbrough and Birmingham), nothing more.
As for United going out of the FA Cup, I didn't gloat about that, I knew it was unfair and stated it on a forum (much to the love of a lot of Arsenal fans ^.^.) If its unfair its unfair, fans should stick together to get rid of the unfairness (CONSTANT unfairness at that) than gloating when the stick hits their opponents and whining when it hits them. I much prefer whining when a games result is determined by a biased/incompetent referee no matter the result.
I'le watch MOTD tonight, I do agree with you though that unfairness should be stamped out, but you know the FA they don't know their head from their arse.
It's getting depressing now. The only positive from the Boro game was that Van Persie started. Were gonna have to take maximum points at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge. Im going to the Liverpool game on the 5th April, Premiership not CL, and I hope to god we put in a good performance. Mostly because it's going to be my first time at the Emirates and I want good memories!
After watching the highlights I don't know how you can moan that the Middlesbrough goal came from an undeserved freekick Xaor especially when your goal came from a corner that shouldn't of been, after the Boro player was fouled and they should of had a freekick. Evened it out imo.

How does that even out? Take out our goal and there goal and give us the goal we DID score and its STILL 1-0.
Even if we take what you said to be true, that's ONE bad goal changing decision for Middlesbrough and TWO bad goal changing decisions for Arsenal. It simply doesn't even out.
The referees reasoning for our disallowed goal: there was intent to pass. Wrong. If there is intent to pass, he would have passed (unless he was stopped first) which he wasn't. The referee is a compulsive liar and he knows that he's broken the rules.

It's simple. There is unfairness. It is wrong. It changes things. It makes the entire league a bit of a joke. It should be stopped. All of it.
You cannot just negate the problems because one side has more of it than another, that is ridiculous.
Lets say, for instance, United get screwed over again and again and Arsenal win the league, is that fair, or right? Is it wrong for United fans to complain?
The refereeing in this sport is appalling, and it should be stopped, complaining about it, no matter which club you are, is the best way to get a solution met, because at the moment it simply isn't right. What you are doing, is perpetuating the problem.
It is important to stand up to what goes wrong in the world, be it a bad football result, a corrupt government, or a fixed Champions League draw (Scary, someone 2 hours before the draw said it had been leaked and predicted it 100% on... Everything right, the home/away, the teams... chance is ridiculously low.)

What has happened has happened and won't change, but it doesn't mean it isn't wrong, doesn't mean it shouldn't be said. It is -WRONG- to 'rofl' at Arsenal when they were undone by a referee making wrong decisions, especially when both L'pool and United only JUST beat teams they are far better than.
The simple fact is that on the day, the result was wrong.

Ugh, the game on wednesday was a missed oppertunity for us. We dominated, should have had a penalty and Bendtner cleared off their line. Alot of possesion but it was the same old story of not enough penetration.
I stand by my comments earlier in the thread that Bendtner isnt good enough, he disrupts the flow of the team. Also, why do they never pass to Walcott? He was in acres of space and yet they kept going down the left with Clichy allowing Liverpool to smother them

Yeh, really sore. I mean, you've had two appalling penalty decisions go your way, and then the one last night, that was barely fair.
It's one appalling refereeing decision to many for me. This season has been demolished by the officials, and not one team should be happy because the victim is fair play.
United fans, Liverpool fans, think of it this way.
If you had our refereeing decisions given to you, and we'd had yours, we would have basically already won the premier league. Liverpool would be in 6-8th place, United probably in 3rd.
Arsenal is a team of many flaws, but frankly, we've deserved to win almost every single match in our last array of 10 games, and we've came out with almost none of them, and that is down to linesmen and referees.
Scousers, I hope you win it, I'd much prefer that to United.

Kolo still jumped when he was behind the player for whatever reason and wasn't needed and in Europe it's different to league football in terms of refereeing.
Karma for saying we will win heh?

I could probably prove my point actually. I am not denying that CURRENTLY United are playing the best.. but if they had got what Arsenal have had, and Arsenal hadn't, they'd be in a bad position.
Overall this season, Arsenal and United SHOULD be neck and neck, but with what I said there I went a step further, to say what the situation would be if the refereeing was reversed.
You cant rely on refs to win you games....all I can say is thats football...sometimes they go your way sometimes they don't but at the end of the day if your good enough your go through whether you get the pen decisions or not.

We don't want the referees to win us the games, but Liverpool are in the Champions League because the referees gifted them the games. That's the fact.
Kolo's penalty is harsh. I believe it WAS a penalty.. but it's less of a penalty than Lucas vs Fabregas and nowhere NEAR as bad as Kuyt vs Hleb.
It's nothing to do with European refereeing. The referees cheated us, and there is no doubt about it.
Liverpool would have lost if they hadn't been gifted two decisions. They also would have lost in the league.
Barcelona wouldn't have won against us in the Champions League final if they hadn't had two relatively iffy decisions go there way.. They probably would have won eventually, but not in the manner they did... They were the best team in the world, and they couldn't have afforded the referees to have screwed them.
It's this simple. Give any team in the league the decisions we've had over the last few weeks and months, and they'd be in drastically worse positions. There is no denying it or trying to understate the effect.

Overall this season, Arsenal and United SHOULD be neck and neck, but with what I said there I went a step further, to say what the situation would be if the refereeing was reversed.
I don't agree. The reason Arsenal are so far behind United isn't just refereeing, it's more their inability to finish off games in which they're not playing all too well. United does that, Chelsea definately does that and Liverpool too. Arsenal have also been lacking that true goalscoring form since Adebayor's dip in form. If they had a better Adebayor, or perhaps a fit Van Persie, things could've been different. If they changed their mentality so they could just score some ugly goals to win a match when it's not going well, things could've been different. Those are big ifs. Ref decisions come into play, as they do with every top team during an entire season, but not as much as these other factors. Ultimately, the main reason Arsenal is lagging behind is the team itself.

Arsenal with correct decisions, would have 2 more wins to their name in the prem and would've won the Liverpool tie

At the end of the day it's football as I said.
And the refereeing is different in Europe there is no doubt.
I support a club who just got out of admin and got -10 points deducted which will prob cause us relegation so how do you think I feel?
I'm sure many teams would have more wins and points to there name if it wasn't bad decisions but thats football....it all evens itself out in the end....what goes around comes around.
We might of progressed to the FA Cup Semi Final and possibly the Final had it not been for refereeing decisions but there aint much point in dwelling on them now. Though I have to say wtf was Mancini doing tonight talk about delayed reaction .

Remember we won 4-2 not 3-2 both were penalties but only liverpool got one so we would have still gone through get over it dont blame refereeing for your own teams shortcomings. We were the better team for the majority of the match so deserved to win better luck next season.

The 4-2 was a result of Arsenal just throwing everything forward after the 3-2. In other words: no penalty there, no 3-2 and no 4-2. What would've happened is anyone's guess.

In 2006, Cole sued the News of the World and The Sun newspapers for libel after they printed reports of a Premiership footballer and a music DJ engaged in a "homosexual orgy",[15] even though Cole was not specifically named in any of the stories; however, a pixellated photograph of Cole with his likeness removed was printed. Both the News of the World and The Sun later retracted the allegations after legal pressure and paid an undisclosed amount of damages to Cole.
Is what happened, if it's true or not i don't know but he's a gimp either way.

And it's Arsenal, Arsenal FC, their by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen...
Im still singing.
The amount of trophy's they have won in the past 12 years would suggest otherwise.

Poor deluded Arsenal supporters . For all the beautiful football in the PL they've won this much ---> 0 , for the past 3 seasons . Arsenals season is over , Wenger is losing the plot stating on TV that everyone is conspiring against his Team since February , William Gallas is the worst captain they could've appointed . Its fair to say the Arsenal problem (and it starts with Wenger) is that they are mentally weak , the whole Arsenal setup .
Now with Arsenal out of the way we can concentrate on Barcelona and the Champions League .

It's debatable considering Arsenal have never won a European Cup.

(i wasn't born in ENGLAND , so it was hard to watch the ELP matches) but now i have my own place, its easy to watch the EPL and the champions league...
ps:i rather die than be a chealse fan....

I got emailed that 3 times at work today. To be fair, it's full of Womens trophies and the Emirates cup!
It's debatable considering Arsenal have never won a European Cup.
Also, if all football songs were rooted in fact, then it'd be a strange world...
Sol Campbell would be Judas Iscariot, all referees would be arrested for acts of public indecency and Peter Crouch's feet would stick out of the bed. Well maybe the last one...
Sign on, sign on, with a pen in your hand, 'cause you'll never get a job, you'll never get a job.
We won the Cup Winners Cup and the Inter-City Fairs cup, so thats two European cups. You pay the price for not being more specific! We are also the only team to never be relegated from the top flight.
Liverpool had some fantastic years, but the fact remains that we have won the league three times since it last resided in Anfield and two of those were doubles. We have consistantly finished above Liverpool in the league, oh and we went unbeaten for an entire season.
Im sure a Liverpool fan would not chastise me for living in the past just a little.

1. I wouldn't class them as european cup wins come on your sounding like a newcastle fan LOL
2.Apart from the last 2 seasons though.
3.No i dont, Apart from winning the league are recent trophy wins are about the same as the other top 3 teams.
Lastly its nice to have a bit of banter without be called a troll ect or getting attacked.
Banter is what football is all about, otherwise it'd be boring, apart from the game itself. Some people take it to heart a bit too much though. My best mate is a United fan (although he's never been further north then Southport) and weve had huge rows/falling outs in the past, most recently on Sunday! But it's all part and parcel of being a football fan!
At the end of the day I want an English team to win the champions league, although i'd rather it not be Chelsea!
I watched the replay of the Gunners V Scum match. I must say, Arse really should have won that. I thought they were the better team.
What was Gallas thinking with the penatly. Put your arms UP not towards the ball.
I think a telling tail though was the subs that were made by both managers. Anderson and Tevez vs Bendter and Walcott.
Surely Arsene must strengthen his squad in the Summer. I love how he has this ability to bring youth through, but surely there is no subsitute for out and out quality straight off the bat. In the form of say an Eto'o or David Villa.
Another CM who can relieve Cesc of his shoulder carrying duties and two decent CB and another Keeper are what I think Arse need come summer time.

Arsenal need experience . Wenger needs to play players in their proper positions (Toure at right back ? WTF ??!!) , the Arsenal players need to toughen up mentally . Arsenal needs to appoint a new captain cause Gallas is the worst captain i've ever seen in the PL (please refer to the Birmingham game)
At this rate Valencia have a really good chance of being relagated, expect a flood of players to leave, including David Villa, David Silva, Joaquin etc etc.
They do need a new captain and more mental toughness. Maybe they did deserve to beat us on the weekend but like Hansen sais you win the league by winning matches when you play badly, which we have learnt to do, Arsenal haven't.

That was a tough game to watch. Hate it everytime the winker scores. But yeah, more experience is needed and more depth. But I wouldn't mind if they don't spend too much. One or two medium to marquee signings would be alright.

I hope so with Rafas ties with valencia if hes given a decent amount of money we might end up landing a couple of their players.
