View Full Version : What will you say, how will you feel, if the Pats go 19-0?

So yeah, ever since I was born my family and myself in turn were huge Pats fans. And from about 87 (the year I was born) until 2000 the Pats weren't that great, and sucked and we all felt bad.

But the year the Pats signed Belichick things started looking bright. After Bledsoe got injured and Brady took over the team, they started winning games. Even more importantly, they started winning playoff and Superbowl games. Belichick and Brady brought the team 3 Superbowl wins in 4 years and now they've gone 17-0, which is an insane feat.

So as a Pats fan, I feel justified with these wins for all the years the Pats sucked hard. But I know many of you don't feel the same way.

Now my question is, if the Pats go 19-0, how will you all feel? Will you hate them, will you praise them? Will you complain, or will you congratulate them?

The funny thing is i was a pats fan long time before they were good. I had little things and id cheer for them and what not and people would think im stupid because my two favorite teams were the...

Exactly, I mean this is history in the making right now. 40 years down the road I can be telling my hypothetical kids and my hypothetical grand-kids about how the Patriots went from being one of the worst teams in the NFL to one of the greatest of all time.

Assuming of course they go 19-0.

Of course i will be happy for them. BUT it would be better to see Favre win another superbowl before retires :D They pats are a young team, they can always go back next year

If they win the Super Bowl, I will congratulate them. If they lose, you can consider that 16-0 season a bust, and I will laugh heartily for weeks to come.

A part of me wants them to win to get that unbeaten record, a part of me also wants them to lose just to see them lose.

Of course if it ends up being the Pats Vs. my NY Giants in the Superbowl then I want the Pats to lose big time!

GO GIANTS!

If the pats win, i'll congratulate them. But if they lose, I'll laugh and point and use the word "CHOKE".

Even if I hated the Pats, everybody still have to give them their respects of being undefeated in the regular season. I always like to see a good team win.

It was one game that we know of. How many others have they cheated in? The fact that they cheated at all means that they have more than likely done it before and will possibly do it again. I hate pro football, but it would still gall me to know that cheaters are the Super Bowl champs and nothing will be made of it.

Better yet, you should ask yourself how many other teams did what the Patriots did and didn't get caught?

Figuring out the coaches strategies is something every team strives to do, somehow I doubt the Patriots were the only ones that crossed the line.

At a game in Foxborough, a Jets employee was caught videotaping from the end-zone stands, according to a league source. The camera wasn't confiscated and the incident wasn't reported to the league, but Patriots officials were miffed. Just recently, a team official mentioned the incident in a conversation about this Sunday's Jets-Patriots game.

It's no big deal," former Cowboys and Dolphins coach Jimmy Johnson told the Daily News yesterday. "Everybody made too much out of it when it happened. This stuff has been going on for 20 years. I did it, too."

Seriously, the only reason it's a big deal to some of you is because it's the Patriots and everyone wants to see them lose, penalized, whatever. And they were penalized too.

I hate the Pats, Tom Brady, and Randy Moss. I'm the first to say it. But I'm also the first to tell somebody to stop themselves when they say stuff like "the Patriots suck." Like playing COD the other day, some kid who sounded 12 was saying how the Pats suck, and I was like "dude if you think that, you're not too smart."

I dislike them, but give credit where credit is due. They are amazing.

Just like I hate the Packers, but I'm not gonna trashtalk Favre. The guy is a legend, and a standup guy.

Even if they don't go 19-0. Let's see how long before another team gets this record in a season.

I dont see them loosing to the packers as a "choke" i mean the packers have a ton of heart right now and with that alone they can beat one of the best teams in the NFL. I mean if it came down to the two teams it would come down to who wants it more. Brady and is record for 19 and 0 or favre and his will to make the packers a team for the fans, favre is a great person and seeing him loose would be heartbreak but im a patriots fan so it will be a interesting super bowl.

If the giants beat the packers im glad the patriots are going 19-0 :) ;)

It would just be sweet to witness that the Patriots go 19-0, but, I'm really not sure who I want to win. If the Pats weren't undefeated at this point, I would definitely be rooting for the Giants just because they haven't one a super bowl in a while.
