Cricket For PS3 (99% Confirmed)

As u all know that the EA Sports Cricket and Rugby Projects are given to company named "HB-Studios" from last 3 years.
Now again EA Sports wants to make a Cricket Game for PS3 or may be (XBOX 360) and EA give this Project to HB-Studios.

Check this link, here see the " IN DEVELOPMENT " Section. They only Mention here that they will start to work soon on next 3 Projects in which 1 is Rugby 2007 other is Cricket 2007 and the Third one I Dont know Exactly (May be FIFA Street Next Gen).See with ur eyes.

I went to a cricket game once in Jamaica it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. it was so boring I feel asleep 3 times in a 10 hours game,it was god awful I wish I could borrow one of those cricket bats and beat my self to death but then I meet this girl she was hot so it turn out to be the 2nd worst day ever I'll rather chop both my legs off than go to another cricket game, jeez thanks dad you're the greatest no really thanks :evil:

I tried a cricket video game, it sucked. But watching I use to watch cricket all the time when i could afford it. But its like 300/per game. I loved watching cricket :)

for all those who think criket is kinda a woosey game ill just add this when i was in highschool i was in the cricket team now the game bores me but it was either that or badminton but anyway those cricket balls are solid cork now ill just put that into an image for you i was bowled at god know the speed of the thing i trund to fast the ball hit my kneepad bounced up hit my 4 bottom rids and sanpped em all clean god the agony.lol

anyways... cricket is fun to play but sometimes boring too watch and im from pakistan and the pakistan and india cricket series are always good i also like aching pakistan and austrailla. pakistan,austrailia,new zealand rule in cricket and im glad that theres a game coming out for ps3.

Rugby would be cool. It's not as popular as football is here in the states but I heard its a tough sport and looks fun. I'm not sure how the game is played or what the rules are but I learn quickly.

put it this way mate once you get the ball run and you can get tackled anyway aslong as its not above the neck but other than that and a few techincal rules its pretty simple

yup seen the highlights today he played well.....for cricket lovers this game must be in your ps3 game collection.....ea is now making good efforts to this game ...their cricket 2005 game is good example...they have changed gameplay much better...and same goes to the graphics

yes there will a cricket game made by ea sports, IN AUSTRALIA, UK, NEW ZEALAND ect, as there is every year, pretty much every cricket game has sold very well, why would ea stop? why would that change just because next gen consoles come out.

cricket games sell extreamly well in australia, not sure about england or new zealand, but my guess would be that they sell very well there as well, not to mention that baseball games sell like **** in australia, so my propersition, ea makes cricket for australia, and basebal for the u.s , everyone happy :D

I grew up with a friend who was a Cricket FREAK, but I hate it with a passion, I played Baseball for like 3 years and its a much better sport in the long run, its alot more fun, Cricket is for "gentlemen" and Baseball is for MEN, im not joking either Cricket is considered a gentlemans sport :? I hate it so much... and im Australian, out team is the best team in the world at it....I guess im just fed up with it, I like sports like Baseball, American Football and Ice Hockey :lol:

They should make a good rugby game, because I have played that countless times while in school, we werent "alowed" to tackle, but we did anyway, theres nothing like smashing some guy to the ground without pads and stuff and saying "ahaha pwned!!" :lol: played it hundreds of times. Now me and my friends mostly play Grid Iron without pads or anything, its damn fun!

It seems that Electronic Arts will release a game about anything these days. If they do make a game about cricket, it'll probably sell horribly... If done by a regular developer. But seeing as this is an Electronic Arts game, it'll probably sell ridiculously well. EA games always do for some reason...

im waiting for a cricket and rugby game for ps3 thatd be awesome. im not gonna even argue with anyone here. i think american football is the most stupid sport in the world. i like watching baseball. soccer? all i can do is laugh and i used to play when i was little. i know that rugby games sell well here and cricket games sell well in aus and nz so im looking forward to the next series. now with the influx of 20/20 cricket the whole game lasts for 3hrs. just an excuse to get pissed with your mates in the sun in the summer. all good to me

Why did we dig up a nearly 3 year old thread to have a pointless argument? About a game that will know doubt suck. Rugby and Cricket games are always terrible on console because EA don't put the time and effort into the realism of the game. They never capture the dynamics properly and the rules are often left wanting. Graphics are always a country behind the other sporting franchises. Not that I am surprised, so few people actually give two shts about these two sports it isn't really worth EA to pump decent money into developing the game.

lol 99%??? why ?? i think the developers who make the baseball games should have a crack at this 1 and just give the game to aussie developers to adjust rating ect when they are done.. the fielding in those type of games is so much fun im sick of cricket games being released with ea who do a very poor job at this game every year it just gets so boring, please make this game more exciting sumbody without taking any of the realism away from it!!!!! even brian lara cricket got boring after scoring 500 in a 20 over match just hitting sixes lol

Jonah Lomus rugby was the best rugby game ever made, they haven't made a decent rugby game since this.

Brian Laras cricket was ok for the 360.

Rugby is a great game to watch very exciting, would be awesome if they made a rugby game for the PS3.

A cricket game would be nice also I'd buy both.
