Burn-in is when an image is left on the screen for too long and and is partially stuck on there. For example, if you left a picture of a car on the screen for a long time you might see the outline and some shadows of the car semi-permanently etched on the screen, and you always see it no matter what you are watching. I say "semi-permanently" because I'm pretty sure there are ways to fix this if it happens. Older Plasmas and prehistoric CRT computer monitors are known to have this, but most newer tvs have pretty much eliminated it.

Happens to Plasma TV's in the First 100-200 Hours if you leave an image too long as Dead_Eye Said
So keep Changing Channels for 100 Hours

So keep Changing Channels for 100 Hours
You mean: Keep changing the images that are on the screen. Like don't pause a video game or don't leave your TV on when there's a black page.

Does this mean that If i use a ps3 on my plasma i won't have to worry about burn in? I am worried that there will be burn from games that have hud.
Also, who leaves their tv on for 100 hours straight on one channel?

Australia’s Office of Film and Literature Classification has claimed its latest victim in the form of Monolith’s upcoming FPS, F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
The horror sequel has been refused rating down under, joining a rapidly growing list of titles banned in the region including Dark Sector, Fallout 3 and Silent Hill: Homecoming.
Bizarrely, the OFLC refused to divulge its reasoning behind the decision, though there’s always a chance Monolith may submit an edited copy in the hope it may avoid the proverbial ban hammer for a second time.
Stay tuned.
