Me and Wyatt were conversing about the PS3 wallpaper contest on the forums, and Wyatt had a good idea, we should creat our own wallpapers for the PS3. Mercenary said that there should be a ps3 wallpaper section on the new site for ppl to get their wallpapers for their ps3

Well I am completely useless with Photoshop, so rule me out of the contest :P

I could create some wallpapers when I have some free time later today, and then I will post them up here later tonight.

Not a bad suggestion. Part of a "Media" section perhaps? If we get enough good ones (say 5+) then yeah we should have a section for it.

If you decide to actually make a section for fan art or wallpapers I could work on making a select few that are high quality and good.

rememner we are talkiing about wallpaper to be displayed on HDTV as a background for the PS3 interface.. not windows desktop. This will be substantially harder becuase everyone has a different size tv.. havent thought through this long enough yet :)

Well we do have one advantage...I use a 52" widescreen HDTV as my computer monitor, so I could download all of the wallpapers and quality test them on my tv.

What does everyone else think about having wallpapers for PCs on the site? Does it need them?

Personally I feel wallpapers are of low priority.

The problem is that for it to be a worthwhile section, we (and by that I mean everyone except me :P ) need to produce new wallpapers regularly - I think that'd be quite demanding, especially since news and feature articles should be at the top of our lists.

Oh my god, I got a kick out of the splinter cell and bill gates one, although it would be better if it was solid snake, since Splinter Cell is a multi-platform game?
