Ok, today, I just heard about the a so-called up coming virus that will hit February 3rd of this year, called Blackworm. It gets into your computer, kills certain files, and then runs its own SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocal) to send the same worm to other addresses.

I love the number of people on campus who get infected with those AIM-distributed viruses...

Well actually, I just search for info on it on Google, but my brother goes to VT, who is a 3rd year, second semester student in Aeronautical Engineering.

while talking about viruses, this might be old but there is a new trojan (dont know the name). its a mail (of course) and when you open it you get several thousands of files downloaded to your computer and it turns of immediately
Turkmen that might be the karma sutra virus just heard about it on the news.
This is great because my antivirus program just expired.

Its a free virus programme from germany, and trust me ive been using it since i was 13 (im now 17) and not a single virus has stuck, the odd reformat due to somthing else and thats it.

There's also avast! and AVG Free. If you have the RAM I'd suggest avast!

I have a copy of norton here if you would like to purcase it. It is the full version in a box, sealed with an unused cd key. Just a thought.

Turkman it is called the Karma Sutra virus and it strikes every 3rd of the month. If you are infected by it than just don't start up your computer on the 3rd of the month. To stop the spead of viruses like this just add these two contacts 11111 and zzzzz to your address book.
