I'm still shopping around for a newer video card for my PC, now I'm wondering. Whats the deal with these different makers for an ATI or Nvidia card?
For instance, look at this link:

You have Asus, BFG, MSI, XFX all making the same card at different prices? Is one of these better then the others? How can you tell?
The cards are the same, but some brands give more software and perhaps some games with it. They might even change the cooler on the card. I would chose the cheapest one, because I'm not interested in the software/games.

So your saying the hardware is exactly the same? They just include more bells and whistles?

Sometimes the different companies will clock there cards higher, the best thing to look at is the clock settings on the cards.
Some brands idd change clock speeds a bit, but yes the hardware is the same. They (7800 gt) all use the same core and pcb design.

Nvidia is better in my opinion...... But ATI is good too, it just matter's which company you like more!!!! Most no matter of what company e.g bfg, e-vga, asus. are all the same, and like wotter said some come with games!!
Jaffe: Home needs a lot more stuff
By: Justin Pinter
In a recent post on his blog, co-founder of Eat Sleep Play and former SCEA Santa Monica Studios Game Director/Designer David Jaffe gave a quick insight on his thoughts for PlayStation Home.
"I was actually on HOME last nite, started a club and everything (Sweet Tooth's Lair)," Jaffe wrote. "I think there is much potential there but they need to get LOTS more stuff to do in it."
We believe Jaffe isn't the only one with the those feelings. However, as Home evolves, more content, features, and games will become available and PS3 owners will spend as much time, if not more, maintaining their Home life than playing actual games.
