Koei is releasing a game called Samurai Warriors for ps2, but instead of the Three Kingdoms Age. It will be in Japan. There are, I beleive nine different players, each with different story branches. It will have the same engine as Dynasty Warriors.{Hack and Slash, one man army kind of thing.}
So check it out when it comes out. :)

Hmm sounds mighty generic. Does it have any new features that separate it from the previous 'Dynasty Warriors' games? It seems to have fewer characters to choose from that 'Dynasty Warriors' as well, as DW usually has at least 20. :roll:

Dynasty warrior 3 had over 30 playable caracters... I think... and over 40 missions to do in Musou mode... That doesnt seem like the normal KOEI way... Maybye they just havent released all the information...

I was a big fan of Dynasty Warriors 2,3, and 4. They got better with each new release. It's good to see Koei go to a differnet time period than just the Three Kingdoms ere. I mean there's what like 18 games out from them during that time. Romance of The Three Kingdoms 1-10, Dynasty Warriors 1-4, Dynasty Tactics 1 and 2. Kessen 2, Fate of the Dragon. Thats only the ones I know off the top of my head.

The PlayStation 3 could have some fantastic media functionality, if CES is anything to go by.

"mrklaw", a member at GA-Forums.com, detailed his experience of the Consumer Electronics Show. What he saw was intriguing.

Sony had set up an HDD Recorder with a network server built in. Beside it was a Sony Vaio laptop running a media server, and an LCD TV as a media viewer.

But in an interesting twist, they had a PSP that was capable of accessing the content from both servers, in a combined list. Using an early version of some new PSP software, they were able to play any video stored on either server on the PSP itself.

"Then the guy on the stand asked me to flick the analog nub up," said mrklaw.

"When I did this, the PSP 'threw' the video onto the TV. The TV immediately started playing back the video from where I'd left off. The PSP was then my remote control for play/pause etc. Flicking down on the nub pulled the video back down to my PSP."

Mrklaw asked if the PS3 would be DLNA-compliant. DLNA stands for "Digital Living Network Appliance, and more information can be found at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DLNA). The representative responded with a "yes".

This would mean the PlayStation 3 would not require Windows Media Centre Edition in order to act as an effective media device. Furthermore, this would essentially make the PS3 an "open" home network media centre, giving much more freedom to its users.

Hopefully more information will be disclosed in the coming months
