How far are you guys getting?
Does it really have anything to do with XBOX or is this just a mistake?
Does anyone have any REAL info about this?
Gamespot seems to think that it has to do with Xbox2

Hmm well i will say that i find it intriguing and a stroke of brilliance in terms of advertising. Too bad that it has been near impossible for me to use the site all day. Seems like there is just too much interest.
Still, seems like a brilliant way to create buzz.

Yeah this is exactly what they did for Halo2.. and Ilovebees.com that had more advertisement then anything ive ever heard of. If you want to get past that first screen you can type and of these words "Play, Learn, Win" those are the ones in the last sentence that worked for me.. but i havent gotten past the please be patient screen so idk whats up.
Theres also a counter in the upper left corner thats 35 days... so thats like May 11 or 12... whens E3???

If you type in the right stuff you get 2 little pictures that form that 1 white picture.
That is supposedly a picture of the left side of the Xbox2 controller.

IS it supposedly the Xbox2 controller??? SIREN! lol just kidding man im more then sure that its Microsoft related and those pictures are of the next generation console, so im all smiles.
What do you think about the color?
How do you think the white color will work with the Xbox Green?

I dont know about it looking with green but the plain white looks pretty good.
Yeah thats a pretty loaded question Siren, there are all kinds of thing you could be getting at with that.
Personally, id say they are going to go fine, long as the green is nice and dark and deep looking. Itll be nice contrast.
Unless of course your suggesting they have dropped the green all together?
You might want to look at the power button picture on gamespot for that answer.

if u notice by the bottom right corner of the white controller there is some kind of hole/button or something.

Green/White is a killer combo... i was orignally going to paint my xbox green and white but they didnt have the right spray paint.. so i ended up painting it blue and silver. But i definetly like the color of the controller it has that Ipod sorta look.
+ for Microsofts color.

Yep its offical now. Siren I think you knew about this ourcoloney.net before the information is released.
Actually, I didn't know up until I first discovered ourcolony a few days ago. But once I saw a couple of things it became immediately apparent what it was.

whats the deal with the "our colony is growing quickly" error page?
Is it just too much interest, or what? I mean seems like a bad way to start an ad campaign: unprepared.
I imagine they were expecting a ramp up more in line with ILoveBees.
They just got slammed yesterday and their server farm couldn't hold up. I imagine they will have it cleared up by Monday at the latest.
Fair enough, but i still think that if they really have the backing/funding of a company like MS they would be better able to adapt to the overwhelming interest.
I mean as of this post, i still get error messages so much that i cant use the site.

hmm, anybody notice that the front page is new? I almost missed it. Also the human clock page you get linked too has an "ourcolony" ant on the front page in the picture...
