Effective use of space, as in don't have everything cluttered. Light colored paint also give the room a larger feel. Windows and mirrors also help.

LIGHT light light apart from that I'd say don't have it cluttered up. Maybe you should phone 60 minute makeover lol.

All manner of filth ran through my mind as I read the topic title. Thankfully, it was the complete opposite of what I was expecting to find once I clicked on it. Anyway, mirrors are usually a good way of making a small space look bigger, and neutral colours such as white, cream, etc. can also give the impression that a room is a lot more open. Another useful tip is to keep everything tidy. You'd be surprised how much bigger a room can look once it's clutter free..

Pretty much yeah.
My room used to be a small study, so I've had to make it feel bigger.

No seriously, my room is tiny.
Anyway, i do believe horizontal lines help stretch a room.

Styling tips? We need a gay person!

/Stereotype.

I used to have a 9' by 6' room with a unit that was the size of one of the walls, which left just enough room for a bed, no saving that room with a lick of paint, but I do believe a nice coat of cream paint will make it feel bigger.

Nasty pics are not needed. This is the internet. We can always find them ourselves if we really want to see them, let alone that this is a kid friendly site. ~ Behemoko

This.

(sometimes 25 characters is too much. Having to add a bunch of meaningless words, to a statement that carries the same "force" as an entire paragraph of well thought out prose, totally ruins the dramatic effect of post styles.)

You should change your picture. Don't wanna get banned for something dumb like that.

Curse my dirty mind.
From what I can tell of some other forum members, you need to rethink your topic title.

Get rid of any unused furniture or put your dresser in your closet. As others have said mirrors are good.
