Yea, as soon as I saw the picture I thought of the movie and I liked the fact that it had black top/bottom which is good because I didn't like a full screen look with my icon bar at the bottom. There were some other Fallout 3 pictures they had that I liked, but this one was just too good to pass up.

Wayyyyyy easier on your system. Even though this is a pre beta build, it out preforms vista by a longshot ;) Plus, the visual eye candy/features are way better. When the RTM comes out, I HIGHLY recommend getting it.

Actually, why not umm, you know, take a look on demonoid.com for "windows 7 pre beta 6801 fixed" *cough*. Its great. You may encounter a few problems, but I have none so far. Well, except when I used PowerISO, which ****ed up windows explorer bad. But i read it does it with vista to.

Yes, its even a step up from the build i was using. Only thing i know of thats new in it though is a new boot screen, and the taskbar windows icon glows when clicked. I think you should "obtain it" if you can. ;)

Not really. And mainly, depends on your computer specs. You need a 64bit capable processor to run a 64bit OS. 64bit is the future, even though its a little buggy compared to 32bit. Some programs don't run etc. But I myself might install 64bit vista soon so Windows can see all 4GB of my ram :p

You don't need it. I would advise you to stick with x86 for now. Unless of course you have 4+GB of ram. Other than that, it will not limit you.

That's weird. I did not encounter that error. I would have been mad, because I use WMP all the time.

Sad thing though, I went to install W7 6956 twice, and the installation failed. I am going to try to re install 6801 instead. Hopefully that will work. I am using Vista Ultimate right now, but I don't have a Product Key for it, and bios emulation messes up my computer :( (its a crack to activate windows)

I was kind of bored, so I did a little bit of cleanup. Text at the top is a rocketdock. Spent a little while making the icons, getting them centered. I really did not know how to center them with a tool, so I had to just position them by eye in paint.net. If anyone knows how to center them another way that would be awesome.

The blue looks great on my laptop, but my TV that my computer is hooked up to makes the blue really bright. It kind of hurts my eyes after a while. But whatever, green is my favorite color anyway :p

Im still working on it and still on my nvidia claw kick. by the time im done I will have all my PC's vitals on the screen, I still have to add networking and other stats. Middle Clicking on any of the objects will take me to that properties application. Middle clicking the CPU monitors takes me to My CPU Fan Controller, GPU properties takes me to EVGA Precision or the Nvidia Control panel, Mail takes me to Outlook, Weather takes me to Accuweather.com, Winamp takes me to Winamp, memory takes me to taskmanager.
