LMAO..what a fat ass !! Would of been a funny site seeing it break
Wow....but to think the Wii Fit would fix this problem would be like thinking a band-aid will help someone who's arm was just cut off in a car carsh.
Its not going to help.
WTF? That's not the target market. I'm in the target market -- I'm about 50ish pounds overweight. Not, say, 150. Or 200.

It is not like wii fit would help out someone that fat. I don't really see them being able to do some of the strength or yoga training. Man, take a walk or something and lay off the burgers. Wii fit while you can loose weight on is more of something to help maintain your body.

The target audience is not people 350 pounds.
If your anywhere near 350 pounds, its a pretty good assumption that you have zero interest in exercising, other wise you would not be over 300 pounds!
Also, Im pretty sure Nintendo said somewhere that its not actually supposed to get you in shape, just supposed to be fun.
It's not supplied as a medical device, but neither are treadmills.
We all know they work, of course.

He's not as overweight as you guys make him out to be. If you read the story, it's says he's 6'8. For a person that tall, 330 lbs isn't that overweight.
True, but it does say, in BIG BOLD NUMBERS, that it's limited to 330 pounds.
Tall people often have a lot of trouble finding usable exercise equipment.

The medically recommended weight for a male thats 6'8" is only 203 - 249 lbs. I checked a few sites, all were around this range.
This is the easiest to read site

and if you check his body mass index at the bottom, it puts him in the severely obese category. Thats only one stop below the worst category of morbidly obese.

"Though it's kind of a letdown that I can not play the game, it's actually very motivational for me to lose weight not only so I can actually play the game but so that I can keep my weight in check. I weight just under 350 lbs and intend to lose enough weight by the end of June to be within the board's weight limits. I've actually lost lots of weight before (at one time over 100 lbs) so this shouldn't be too hard of a task."
So, with a weight of "just under 350" pounds and a height of 6'8", the BMI calculator clearly states that the guy is, indeed, overweight (as you know, Wii Fit uses a BMI calculator to decide who's fat and who's not) and that is even more important to know, keeping in mind that the game is created to keep people fit and help them lose weight... So, to anyone who plans to get a Wii Fit - check the limitations carefully, you don't want to be shocked, do you?
The BMI system is flawed anyway. Skinfold is a much better measure.

Did he get his money back i would be mad if i didnt because i was too fat. So wiifit is for skiny healthy people and not fat people thats a surprise.
