this is something that lots of people in general get wrong and so i thought i would make a post so any1 who see's it will never make the mistake again and will save me lots of correcting
b=Bit and B = Byte. there are 8 Bits to the Byte (and also 4 bits to wots called a nibble but thts not important and im not jokeing)
oh and there are 1024 to the killerbye or KB and 1024 KB to the MB not 1000. u dont need to know why but its todo with binary(what computational electronics uses to compute things) beeing base 2. and for the people that dont know much maths it goes 2 to the power of something or 2^n so 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048 and so on.
if you want to know any more on this just ask me and il try my best though im no computer geek or wizkid and i dont know tht much
oh and a bit is a binary number (0 or 1)
Heh, thanks for the insight. I honestly didnt know that myself but then again you wont find me posing an argument about many technical aspects of computer related stuff. I'll need to study your post a little more to throughly understand what you mean but thanks alot, your knowledge will be a great aspect to the boards.

hey, gaming ultima. I do have a question, but i dont know if u know how to do it? how do you make banners that go in your signature. I know thatu have to copy n html address, and pasteit to your signature, but how do you make them? If anyone knows, please answer.

what the banner itsself, u could make it using a program like photoshop or soemthing similar or any kind of program like tht. at a pince u could prob even use paint. once uve made it unless the site lets u upload it u will prob hav to host it somewhere elce and then link it. what do you want your banner to display, a picture, several bits of pictures ????
If you do make a banner just be sure it's a resonable size. As in not overly gigantioun
