When I first saw Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter in action on the 1up show I was amazed. This game was definitely a big factor in me deciding to purchase a 360. I final got to buying the game and have played for hours upon hours.

Single player is different from any game I've played. In the beggining the game felt very weird. The controls, the way you move, commands, etc all felts strange or just plain different. After about one hour of gameplay I got a hang of everything and started having alot of fun. The graphics are amazing, and flying in a blackhawk between missions makes the game feel more like you are actually there. I think the overall experience in 1 player is great and is highly rreccomendedto complete.

The mmultiplayermode is aabsoultlydifferent from solo. I mean VERY VERY different. From the way you use a scope on a gun to the way you throw a grenade, everything plays differently. You move more like how players move around in Socom, and moving around is a bit easier. I actually like the changes made for multiplayer. The overall experience is very fun and addicting. Controls are easy, and the online mode will have you playing the game for many hours and adds excellent replay value.

In conclusion, I believe that G.R.A.W. is a must have game if you own an Xbox 360, and is my favorite online game to play as of right now.

Since the offline and online modes of the game are so different, on some scores I will post two, one for each mode.

Gameplay: 90/100
It is very hard and sort of frustrating to get used to the controls when you first play single player, but once you get used to it you are good to go. The solo game provides fun and challenging gameplay with no boring moments. Online is also very fun and seems like it will never get old.

Graphics: Offline:95/100 Online: 85/100
The graphics in solo are very detailed and beautiful. Online, the graphics are toned down a bit, but not enough to frustrate anyone, and the environments still look beautiful.

Value: 100/100
You get a really great value with this game. With its lengthy Offline game to its addicting and fun Online gameplay, you will find yourself putting many hours into this game.

Sound:90/100
Sound is very good. The guns all sound loud and crisp, the explosions are massive, and everything just sounds great.

Xbox Live: 100/100
The online gameplay is amazing. It plays very well, is very fun, and most of the maps seem very balanced. You can also customize the head of you character and your body is different depending on what class you are. The game seems to run smoothly with very little lag and gunfights will keep you on you're toes.

Over All: 95/100
With it's amazing single player, amazing multiplayer, beautiful graphics, and addicting gameplay, I have no choice but to give it a 95/100.

I'm glad you like the game. A friend of mine picked it up the other day and since then, I've played it myself numerous times. I have to agree with you that this game is truly an outstanding game in every respect. The graphic's are indeed amazing and if you've got a surround sound system, the explosions and gun fire flying around all around you is truly immersive and really adds to the overall experience. From what I've played, I can't think of anything I don't like about this game. It's really a "must have" title for every gamer.

What I really like most about it, isthe fact that's it's not your typical "run of the mill" FPS either. This game has depth. It's not about just running around and blowing everything away. You actually have to think how it is, you're going to sneak up on the enemy and take them out.

Anyhoo, like I said, glad you like it but I have just one question.

Now that you own a 360, shouldn't you consider maybe changing your user name?

I'm not sure I know what you're reffering to exactly when you acccuse him of Sony bashing. Where in his post do you see any PS3 bashing? All he said was he felt bad for the PS3 fans (I'm assuming he's reffering to news PS3 would be delayed). He's not "bashing" anybody. Calm down. He never mentioned anything about people wanting to wait for PS3. I don't know how you were able to extract that idea from his post.

You should take his advice and go out and play this game for yourself and see just how good it really is. There's nothing wrong with what he said.

Besides, you should try and read what it is that he wrote. He says that this game alone was the reason he PURCHASED the 360. He didn't just "happen to play a game that was on 360" as you say it, he BOUGHT the a 360, just to own the game.

Ghost Recon may have been known for originally debuting on the Xbox video game console. It was a first person shooter, it was a great game to have and its to this day a great game to play. One thing that has been improved over the series is its control. In Ghost Recon 2 you got a much better feel for the player you were controlling, in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, you get the great feel for control up to date. Ubisoft has created a fantastic game and im so elated to be able to play this game online and off, which is why I want to write my first official review on Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is just amazing, its already a two thumbs up, you have the ultimate control over Cpt. Mitch.ell while playing this game offline. The cross-com brings a more convenient type of way to play this game. There are many different ways to complete your objective in this game, if you are able to get the support to be able to control a tank or helicopter. The new key features such as drones, cross-com, and your ghost team brings the most exciting experience to your tv screen. Set your ghost team in Recon or Assault to kill the enemy. New added features such as new weapons, cross-com, sliding, helicopter machine gun support, and realistic situations all set the standards of the next generation of third person shooters.

Online play is better than ever, its set for you to play a variety of different set ups such as Co-op, campaign, and even the old classic team elimination: sharpshooter. With new maps, and more maps to come on the way, the maps already available can suit any gamers type and choice. There are leaderboards, if that is what interests you. Do your best when you take your game online, as playing ranked can increase or decrease your Tru-skill level on xbox live.

After playing G.R.A.W. for a few days, there are only a few particular and specific things that I bug me with this game. These few things should not change your decision on whether you should buy this game in any shape or form. Basically, for online play, I wish ranked matches could be more suitable. There are bugs that can let your play more than one game after a game is finished, but when you do finish a game you have to look for another game. Looking for a ranked game can take some time if you are looking for a game to hop right into, directly straight into playing. I also am upset with the lack of A.I. of the Recon team in the single player campaign. There are better off being sent straight into ****, because if you dont watch them, they can be done as soon as he.ll brakes loose.

I am very pleased about these graphics. They really did a great job with this game, the extra delayed time may have paid off for every cent. The graphics are very well done, I'm not big on graphics as I am with Gameplay, but the gameplay is great as is the graphics which makes the an even better game. There is a great use of light effects, explosions, player details, and city details. This game wasn't rushed, and is more than just an improvement to the original Xbox verison. Ubisoft was able to catch the realism with this Xbox 360 hit, its games like these that surely and behold will release the full graphic presence that stands beside the Xbox 360.

Value
If you dont have Xbox live and are short on money, this may not be the best choice for you. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was built to continue on toward online gaming after you complete the campaign. This game has lots of replay value, if you are interested in playing the game, once or twice after its already beaten. But, be sure to challenge your skills on hard difficulty for the original campaign. For Ghost Recon vets, its a must. And if you do have Xbox live, then you will be ready to take on the world....

Sound
The overall presence of the bullets hitting the wall, hitting the concrete, hitting the enemy contributes to the sound well. I have never heard such a great explosion from any video game as I have while playing this game. Just the tone makes this game feel all warm inside. The dialogue goes well, voices are well heard, it sounds realistic then ever before. The cries after a man has been hit leaves you with a smile on your face knowning enemy opposition is down.

Xbox LIVE
Xbox live is a completely different experience then offline play. You first start off by creating a player or soldier. You than can either play nonranked or ranked. All the maps are well done, you shouldnt have any problems with any of them. There are many different types of set ups and custom games you can choose regardless of if you want to play with friends or just by your own self. I never had such a fun time online since Halo 2. I nearly played 8 hours straight, Co-op elimination, team elimination, team objective, team territory, co-op territory, co-op objective, Campaign. What ever you decide you want to play, you can play. The graphics from offline campaign to online play will slightly change, but that wont change a thing, especially when you are playing such a great game.

For me its easily 93/100 and ofc one of the best looking games ever done.
The animations in the game is superb,apperently this guy has played the previous Ghost recon titles,and assume it used the same,he obviously hasn't played GRAW at all.

MTV Games has confirmed that sales of its Rock Band franchise have surpassed the $1 billion USD mark in North America – not bad considering the series launched only 15 months ago.

Citing figures from the NPD Group, the company also revealed that a whopping 40 million tracks have been purchased to date, with Viacom claiming that the series has shipped 10 million units since its inception in November 2007.

NPD added that Rock Band was North America’s number one title for last year in value terms.
