Assassin's Creed $30 lol

So i just picked up Assassin's Creed and much to my surprise the guy at the register at my local Wal-Mart says that will be $31.42. I was like alright sweet. They had it listed for $60 still so i was pretty shocked. I guess holding out on buying it for so long payed off. What a steal that was

Here is my review of it for you:

The game is very big, loads of things to do, but after playing it for about 2 hours you realise it is just rinse and repeat. You could spend hours upon hours collecting everything/finding everything and doing the main story only to realise you've been doing the exact same thing over and over since the first half hour.

If you like easy to pick up games with open worlds that are very repetative then this game is for you. The story is n ot actually bad but very repetative.

So in one word.. Repetative.

I don't know why everyone thinks it's so boring. You are probably one of the top 5 coolest characters ever in a video game. In an amazingly big world with amazing graphics. What is there not to like? It gets repetitive i can understand that, stealth games usually do. Still a pretty A+ game though

i will admit this game did get pretty repetitive but it wasn't as bad as people made out to be. paying full price for it yes i would be mad but at 20-30 its okay.

IMO, it's boring because it's the same game over and over again. Jerusalem is really no different from Damascus. You gather information the same way for every assassination and there aren't a lot of ways you can go about killing the target either. The replay value isn't really there either. You really have no incentive to save all the villagers or to collect all the flags or to find all the viewpoints.

I wouldn't blame it on the fact it's a stealth game because I loved the MGS series and also enjoyed the Splinter Cell series. It's the repetition that makes this game so boring. I would gladly sell my copy for $30.

I do agree that Altair is a very cool character though. I'm hoping that the second one will be a lot better than the first one.

Its $30 because Circuit City bput it on sale so Walmart is matching

I wrote a review of Assassin's Creed. You can find it under the Reviews subforum. If you're interested in playing AC you should rent it, because it seems to be a love or hate sort of thing. Personally, I don't think it's worth even $30 but that's just me.

no game can touch this one in combat animation and environment intractability department. it looks real cool and like someone mentioned it has got the top 5 coolest game char to day.
if MGS4 creator is a big fan himself then it just tells you how good this game is.

For $30, this game willl be a great experience. Lucky for me, I got this game as a Christmas gift so I paid nothing for it. Personally, I thought it was good. But some people didn't like it. Anyway, nice pickup.
