I don't agree with their list much mainly because I don't care for the handheld RPG's. I'm not much of a DS fan because the graphics are so dated, but eitherway, interesting...

My biggest gripe is they are missing the three best RPG's of the year IMO...Fable II, Persona 4, and The Last Remnant.

RPGamer's List for the Lazy:

5. Fallout 3 (PS3/360)
4. Infinite Undiscovery (360)
3. Tales of Symphonia: DotNW (Wii)
2. Dragon Quest IV: CotC (DS)
1. Final Fantasy IV (DS)

My Personal List: (With the conclusion that WKC won't make it out this year, otherwise it would be #1 on my list)

5. Tales of Vesperia (360)
4. Infinite Undiscovery (360)
3. Fable II (360)
2. Persona 4 (PS2)
1. The Last Remnant (360 - T.E., PS3 - 2009)

Honorable Mention: Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (PSP) (If it makes it out this year) and Tales of Symphonia (Wii), Magna Carta 2 (360--if it makes it out this year which is doubtful)....I'll be buying all of those also.

Wow their list is a joke. They should at least exclude remakes and really the DS versions of the FF games(III, IV) were really crappy looking imo. I wish they had left the 2D look alone unless they were gonna do it right.

That was my EXACT feeling when I read their list of RPG's for this year. Lame.

I don't understand how they came up with that garbage!

A sad site to see. I hope the PS3 gets alot more third party RPG support now that all this has happened.

RPGamer has been around forever, they probably have a lot of older gamers who like the earlier titles

Lol, yeah, you're probably spot on. I like my Traditional JRPG's too, but I've fallen in love with sexy graphics to go along with them.

I'm currently waiting for Fallout 3 and The Last Remnant. Besides FFXIII and FFvXIII, those games are closer to release.
