I can't wait to E3

Here is the new site: http://www.ilovebees.com/

You can also click on the Mission Log,. MIA and Recruit links on the page.

The Pieces are Coming Together. Over the past few days, there have been rumors that a new Halo game will be announced at next week's E3 and today we have enough clues to believe the rumors are indeed true. First, Kotaku discovered that in Bungie's latest podcast, Brian Jarrard and Luke Smith teased about something being revealed at E3.

Brian: Isn't there something going on on July 14th or something like that?
Luke: Yeah, around then.
Brian: Somehow that's sticking in my head for some reason. Guess we'll have to see.
Luke: Yep, we'll just have to be patient. Who could say?

Furthermore, the I Love Bees web site has resurfaced today, leading us to believe that there's definitely something going on.

Or it could just be new details on Halo Wars?

I'd imagine that Microsoft and Bungie would want Halo 4 to be a complete surprise to Xbox 360 gamers, so they'd avoid any kind of marketing. Halo Wars, however, is known to the world. I reckon it's just Microsoft and Bungie teasing us in preperation for E3.

I need to be corrected if I am wrong, but I thought MS or Bungie stated that Halo 3 was the end....the trilogy of Halo. No Halo 4, but possible spin offs.

I love bees was never down... It hasn't changed, and the countdown clock is counting down to something in the 2500s... And of course there is a new Halo game coming: Halo Wars. No new Halo games from Bungie, though, because the main series is over and Halo Wars only has them on as consultants.

But if you haven't listened to the ILB audio drama, wait about a month... I'll have the full thing in LOGICAL ORDER (which you won't find on the site) on torrents. It's worth listening to, it's a great story (sort of a throwback to old radio shows)

Nah, Halo 3 was the end of the story arc of Master Chief.

Couldn't they just make a new character and start a new story with Halo 4? A possible successor for Master Chief? I really don't see Microsoft letting the bank of Halo end with 3.

I have never played Final Fantasy (besides FF online that came out for the Xbox 360...which I had installed for like 2 seconds). But if there are tons of Final Fantasy titles, such as Final Fantasy 13 coming out....then what is wrong with having Halo 4, 5, 6.....etc.?

Why can one game of have 13 plus sequels, but another game having more than 3 is too many?

Because most Final Fantasy games are not sequels, they are completely different stories in their own right, they do usually incorporate common themes though.

edit: I didn't mean to imply that Halo shouldn't have more, I was just clearing up your post.

So we cold have Halo 4-6 as a new storyline/trilogy. Or maybe Halo 4 is a story. Halo 5 is a different story. Could have different characters, different stories, but similar gameplay and theme...and just carry on.

Kinda like Call of Duty and all the different titles they have out.

I know Microsoft are known for milking things for what they're worth, but I doubt even they would drag the Halo series on just for the sake of dragging it on. The Halo games have been some of the best-selling games of all time, and I don't think it would go down well with Mr. Gates if it lost all credibility just because Microsoft wanted that extra bit of cash. And I really doubt Halo would be the same without Master Chief.

I guess the question is how much do Microsoft need Halo? Do you think they've got enough push to keep going without it? While not the only draw to the 360 it was a major one.

I've only just played Halo CE and I thought it was a bloody good game after the flood came out (fairly meh up till there) and I'd hate to see the series destroyed by too many bad sequels

I thought that the Spartan IIs were the last of the "Super-Spartans", and that the Spartan IIIs are not as strong.

I rather they make a new IP, or a new Halo game without Master Chief in it. But again, using the "halo" name but with no master chief will be weird...i rather they make a new IP. :D

I thought that the Spartan IIs were the last of the "Super-Spartans", and that the Spartan IIIs are not as strong.

Because the Spartan IIs cost so much to train and their MJOLNIR armour cost so much, ONI decided along with that they needed more Spartans but at a lower cost. So, they decided to open up the Gene pool of people they could accept and accelerate the training programmes. Also, they wouldn't supply the MJOLNIR armour, instead opting for cheaper SPI armour which didn't have energy shielding and didn't have the strength capabilities of the MJOLNIR.

So, the Spartan IIs were stronger, faster, had better shielding but there were far too few of them.
