These screens look really good, I haven't really seen the trailer or anything for it yet, but I'm excited that it will hit the 360...

You do realise it's being developed on PC?
You do realize every game gets developed on PC first? These are PS3 screens.

That remains to be seen. They're not even working on that version until after the JPN PS3 one ships.

Its easy to see whos a little hurt over this FF deal.
well to be fair, i dont believe they are even up to this point for the 360 version. but who cares? 360, PS3, or PC pics..the game will look pretty dang close to identical on them.
pictures look really good and are in real time supposudly. SE allways seems to push whatever console they put a Final Fantasy on to its limits. cant wait to play it.

So you say. Tell me something, you know even more than one of the world biggest games developers,lol? Any it certainly does remian to be seen whether or not it will match the ps3 version. This is a 3rd/4th generation game built specifically on PS3 hardware, Cell, Hard drive and Blu-ray. It may be to much to have all the SPU's data/ Blu-ray/Hard drive streaming to go onto 360 perfectly. GTA4 wasn't even pushing the PS3 yet the 360 port was inferior. Imagine a game of FFXIII's resources.

I have both versions of GTA and the only diffirence I saw is that the PS3 version is softer (Which some people prefer) and 360 version is a bit sharper I guess due to being true 720p while PS3 version is 640p. Graphically they both look to be on par with each other from my observations and running both through HDMI. Game on.
Anyway I'll be buying the PS3 version of FF.

Okay I saw the opposite the 360 version looks soft and blurry and the PS3 version was sharper with more jaggies of course. I look at them side by side of course. Anyway I love this thread. All the you know this is that and that is that rofll hilarious.

sooner or later the fanboys are gonna have to admit that anything that can run on the ps3 that doesnt have massive physics calculations is going to run on a 360

Hmm. Metal Gear Solid 4 will definitely never run on the 360... unless the data is compressed, forcing the game's quality to suffer.

anyway back on topic...screens do look very good, but they seem to be getting worse andworse every batch
i dont know about worse and worse every batch. whichever way, they look great. i have no doubt the game will push boundries on these consoles for graphics(JRPG wise at least). SE does it with every Final Fantasy game and i doubt it will stop now.

I gotta hunch that getting this game to be made on the 360 was a huge reason for the hard drive installs being announced at E3. I hate to fan the fire and yes I KNOW IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, but Metal Gear Solid 4 could now technically be possible on the 360.

How many times does SquareEnix have to say that FF13 will NOT be on the 360 before people finally figure it out? Seriously...why even think about it anymore? It's like asking Halo 1-3 to come to the PS3. It just won't happen!

I didn't realize there was something to miss. I still have yet to see a statement from SquareEnix directly stating that FFXIII is going to be on the 360. Ive seen plenty of rumors from XBOX and Microsoft sites but that is it. Show me the difinitive proof of a SquareEnix rep clearly stating it and I will shut up.
