It is a very nice looking console. I like the idea that it has some watercooled parts in it, so maybe it will be quiet.

That the exact thing they showed on mtv, but there was one cool feature that you can actually take the systems fron and change it. Its like a skin for the system.

That is the Lithium Ion battery pack.
Overall not too impressive, but it doesn't really matter how it looks, just how the games look.

I didn't really like the design at first, but it's starting to grow on me.
sexiest thing i've ever seen as far as hardware for under 400 bucks goes.

there are two comparisons I've seen so far as to how big the real Xbox360 will be. all i have is one question, which is it?

I would say that the top one is more accurate because its released by IGN but now im not too sure :?

The size comparison is wrong, it's practically the same size as the Xbox.
I still can't get over the controller. Design is...meh, but the controller is just amazing.

Are you sure chaotic_king that's the size of an xbox. When i saw it at mtv i thought it also look particually large. I mean its hight looked huge.

Wow thanks alot for this info. Man those calculations really threw me off. Wow can the slick look design be ruined again by the size. This will definitly be intresting.

The Xbox 360 is pretty huge.. I thought it was about the size of the PS2 :shock:

I agreed, the design looks really good but I didn't think it would be so big.. at least they could have slimmed it down, slim is in nowadays it would have probably worked.

So is everyone gonna complain when PS3 releases there gameconsole tomorrow and it shows thats its the same size as Xbox IE.? Since PSgamer said its alot bulkier then you thought.

You misinterpreted me...I said it was bulky due to the cooling system...though it wasn't as bulky as many would believe. I said it would be around the size of a orignal PS2, which is a pretty good size.

No ones frowning upon that...we are frowning upon that its almost the size of the orignal Xbox....

Yes but atleast they made it smaller.. I had no problem with the size of the original Xbox.. i wasnt hauling it around on my back all over the place.. it was either in my entertainment system or downstairs..

Lighter than that definetly, Sony make all their products pretty light nowadays I certainly hope the PS3 is any different.

Sony appears to have made a bit of a blunder! On the Companies PSP connection website a download advertisement is placed to encourage people to download a new Gran Turismo HD trailer but the image sporting this trailer appears to be one of the Xbox 360 title, Project Gotham Racing 3.
Of course Sony has now fixed the error but is anyone going to get fired for this rather odd mistake? We aren’t sure and we’ll probably never find but mistakes do happen although adding an Xbox 360 image on to a PS3 game is very poor.

However, it does set a bad impression when the following error(s) appear right at the start of the article:
"On the Companies PSP connection website"
should actually be
"On the company's PSP Connect website"
Just keep a look out for this in future.
