New game from the creator of Resident Evil

Famitsu magazine has revealed that Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil series, is currently hard at work on a brand new title for the PS2.

The only other detail known so far is that the game will be titled God Hand, and that Atsushi Inaba is helping out with development. Inaba, you may recall, is the creator of the Viewtiful Joe series.

The game is in development at Capcom's Clover Studio, which was responsible for the VJ sequels. Clover Studio is also hard at work on Okami, a PS2 action adventure with a distinctly Japanese flavour.

More of God Hand will be revealed at E3, with a bit of luck, so stay tuned.
God Hand...Hahaha, right away Berserk comes in my mind. But they just should have made that game for PS3 =(

Clover studios is very quickly getting my utmost respect. Okami is such a brilliant title and Viewtiful Joe was a solid 2D/3D side scroller in its own right.

I hadn't realised Clover studios was apart of Capcom. Now I love them even more.

Hopefully the combat system will be top notch especially with the likes of Clover studios working on God Hand. It also looks as if there might be some slapstick comedy involved as well ( looking at the teaser).
