HOLY SNOT!! Now, that's publicity. How did the X2 get on Time Magazine?? That's not... shoot. That's amazing. Really, this is turnning into a bigger deal than I thought... if time is running a piece let alone gicing the cover to X2, the world must seriously be looking at the gaming industry. Well, either that or M$ bought the cover, but I think TIME'S a little to influential for M$ to have that sway... still the gaming industry seems evevn bigger than I thought now...

wow, TIME is actually 'dissing' microsoft:

Bill Gates' time is valuable. There are Microsoft employees who wait their whole career to be alone with Gates for 45 minutes. As the richest man in the world and, arguably, the greatest philanthropist in history, at any given moment Gates could and probably should be off feeding the hungry or curing some horrible disease.

But he isn't. Instead he's sitting in a suite at the Las Vegas Hilton wearing a sweater vest and talking about video games and laughing his head off. Gates is here for a trade show and to talk up Microsoft's new video-game console, the Xbox 360. In person Gates is not at all the stiff, unsmiling mandroid people make him out to be, or at least he isn't at this exact moment. He's...

I'm sure microsoft wants attention, but not this type of attention.

No, they're actually complimenting him... they're essentially saying he's not the "so and so" we take him to be. He's actually a human being and acts like an average person, not some software demi-god, which I think is quite true... until you get him in the business world... then he'd cut your throat so much as look at you... of course, he'd get someone else to cut your throat, since he can't be bothered with you.

Essentially, I'm just trying to say he's very dual natured like the rest of us... like the seeming nice guy who turns all freaky when you play a game of touch football and so on. He's a nice guy when he's being a guy, when he's at work... he's Satan's pimp.

New Red Faction on the Way!
By: Justin Pinter

Red Faction has always been a remembered as a classic of the PC and last gen consoles. Made popular with its futuristic nano-technology enhanced storyline and Geo-Mod engine, Red Faction had players awing over its beautiful graphics and realistic environmental destructibility. Now it seems like it will be heading to next gen consoles.

Brian Farrell, CEO of THQ, recently revealed that THQ plans to release a new addition in the Red Faction franchise bringing it to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

When Farrell was asked list the six major THQ-owned brands that the company would be working on in the next year, he stated: "…Saints Row, Stuntman, which will be released this year, Juiced, which is a sequel to the product we launched a couple years ago, Destroy All Humans, MX, and my favorite, Red Faction."

Check in with PSU as more details are announced for Red Faction 3 or any other titles from THQ.
