I can tell its cgi, but after tekken 5, I know the game will be drooling good looking. Plus we can have yet faster gameplay and more moves to create caluses on our hands. :)

So...how do you KNOW it's cgi? Sure, it's not likely that it's realtime, and it's also not likely that it's running on any sort of engine that the ps3 can pump out during gameplay, but how do you KNOW? I mean, noone here's developed for the cell chip, nor seen the final product (the ps3) in real life, actually playing a game, so until we see it actually running Tekken 6, in real time, then you can KNOW. Until then, we can only hope. :D

-_- well it's more obvious than the fact that you'd think it'd look THAT good in this generation, I'm sure we'll expect .hack// living worlds in the next 3/4 generations...but if it does come out like that, that is a major leap in WOW factors..

We also do not know when Tekken will be released. The PS3 is coming out in 2006 and it is possible that Tekken may not come out until 2007 or 2008.

I don't remember Namco ever unveiling Tekken with anything other than FMV footage, y'see the unfolding, soap opera storyline is actually a draw to a lot of fans, so they always drop a few storyline hints (in this case, we can assume Tekken 6 is all about Jinnyboy there).

Remember the "OMG Kazuya's back!" teasers they showed for Tekken 4?

Electronics Arts VP, Frank Gibeau, has revealed the company’s disappointment with the PlayStation 3 software sales in a recent financial conference call. The company did receive $41 million in orders from retailers throughout the holiday season but this was far less than the $76 million orders they managed to obtain from the Xbox 360 launch.

EA put the disappointing software sales down to a large amount of PS3s being sold and then purchased on EB with the purpose of making profit instead of keeping the system to purchase games.

This news doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing anymore EA PS3 games but it might make them think twice before porting future games. We’ll have to wait and see.
