Anyone else just give in to the urge when they have money in their bank and just go crazy and buy loads of stuff which you haven't wanted until about 10 minutes ago??
I do it all the time nowadays, I allow myself to before the new year where I'm going to start saving for Uni.
This week I purchased, a Blue PSP & 9 games and some accessories, a 60GB Xbox 360 with Fable 2 and PES 09 (came in a bundle but selling this game), loads of clothes, something to smoke. Pre-ordered several games.
And now, I have no money left... I've had some mad 20% Tax building though so next weeks pay will be double the usual I think, if not, then the week after that. :D
Anyone have the same problem/disease?

hah i havent gone that mad before but i did do it with my psp 2000 had a 1000 and saw a 2000 on ebay that had only got like 20 mins left and was pretty cheap so i thought hmmm i have the money why not! spent 97 quid within minutes without planning too haha.
I have urges all the time to buy stuff that i dont particularly need but my conscience tells me not too and thank god coz i know in a few weeks of getting it id be like wtf why did i buy that hump of **** haha

Man that is some good going, although I don't think I would buy 2 consoles at the same period of time because I know I wouldn't pay either of them enough attention and find myself getting bored of them both even though they were probably brilliant.
That's a lot of stuff!
Just out of interest, do you work, pay bills, etc?
I've found I've become a lot more responsible lately. I still buy some stuff because I can, but spend a lot less money on it.

WOW, that is alot of stuff, atm I am only getting EMA but my brother still shouts at me because as soon as I get it, I spend it. As soon as I get a job im gonna set up automatic payments into a savings account because if its in my bank account I know ill spend it.

I really only went crazy once but I bought about $5000 worth of merchandise the only time I did do it. Built a new PC and desk and went clothes shopping.

Yep, I love spending money. Not much of a saver, but I'm trying to save more now. Moving out of my parents house and all that stuff cost money.
Nope, not really..... saving for college = LIMITS!!! I've spent.... probably $400 out of the money I'm saving for college so that's not bad, should have money left over + part-time job during college to use to buy/save as well.
Buying sprees are my downfall when it comes to money. I'm under the illusion that if I have the money, then I can spend it. However, I've come to pay the price - I can no longer afford to buy a game every week and now I just take in my older games to trade in for newer titles.

Hahah! I always feel pleased at myself for that. All I have to pay for is some rent to my Mum which isn't much compared to what I earn, she says it's more than enough.
Also, I gave up drinking alcohol a while ago and that's saving me like £60 a week, so I have nothing to do with my money apart from save or spend, at the moment I feel like treating myself a lot. :lol:
Oh, and I'm kind of alternating between 25-45 hours a week so that's been a nice change compared to my £30 a week ema.

Yeah I get the urge to spend and sometimes I do but usually I put it in the bank, about $20 Grand now, and I live on my own and have a family!!!!
Spend while you can though.....

It's the only way. You have to go waste, I mean spend Birthday money wisely :D
I used to back when I didn't have any bills to pay and was making nearly double what I'm making right now.

i wish i could go on a spending spree but with all my bills and the cost of living out here, i can't. at least not right now but if i did have money to spend, i think i'd buy a bunch of blue ray movies.

Lets see, I got new Etnies shoes yesterday for around $70, but that's it recently. I usually save all my money, I need to save up to buy a car.

I have no money to spare. Been going out with my gf for almost 4 years now, so she expects sum sort of savings, and I have a $5000 engagement ring for her, and I owe her $2500 for it, lol, and im 19... So i've never had the money for a shopping spree, and probably never will...
Wish I could relive the days of not having much in the way of financial commitments. Made life so easy.

My buying sprees involve grocery shopping for my wife and kids. I feel quilty about buying myself lunch while at work let alone a video game. LBP was the first game I purchased in a long while, only becuase my wife split it with me.
