The Last Remnant getting four DLC packs in December -- Joystiq

If you thought you've seen the last of The Last Remnant (http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=The%20Last%20Remnant), Square's recent East-meets-West RPG, you've got another thing coming -- actually, you've got four things coming. Throughout December, Square will be releasing four downloadable expansions (http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/11/29/four-dlc-packs-for-last-remnant-in-december/) to the already expansive title. The first two will drop simultaneously on Dec. 1 for Gold Xbox Live members (Silver members will have to wait until Dec. 8) -- "Challenge Pack 1: Purgatory's Sins" will add difficult new guild tasks to the game, while "The Key of Ancient Ruins" will... unlock some in-game Ancient Ruins.

On Dec. 22 (Dec. 29 for Silver members), Square will release "Challenge Pack 2: The Price of Lies", which will bestow even tougher guild tasks upon the game's more masochistic players. Finally, the "March to War" set, which unlocks three new battle formations and was rewarded to pre-orderers of the title, will be available for everyone to download Dec. 15. Well all I can say is it all better already be on the PS3 Blu-Ray when it finally releases !!

thats very cool and really quick. only problem is the game is huge and been playing it all week long and am only half way through disk 1

One: I hope the PS3 version is fixed, and all the glitches and stuff is no longer there.
Two: They should send patches out for the 360 version before they do DLC!

there is nothing that needs fixing no more then any other game for the most part. i dont see a reason to fix or patch a problem that is not bad at all, not even there with a simple 5 minute instal. im telling you, games like Mass Effect has technical issues that are far worse then Last Remnant, it was only tolerated and not mentioned as much because it was a hugely hyped game that happened to be a console defining game that can make it worth owning a 360 on its own. a game like LR rolls around that is not hyped or console defining and it is getting slammed for having the same exact issues as ME. the only difference is ME had much worse texture pop-in.

Fable 2 has plenty of game stopping glitches that make it physically impossible to finish the game or advance the story and oddly that never stopped it from scoring 10s.
