Just wondering how many of you guys out here are cubers. I recently just picked it up, and can barely put my rubik's cube down, regradless of how big of a POS it is xD. If you are, what is your best time?
2:52 for me

I had one and i never finished it. Threw it at the wall and it broke. God damn.

yeah, they get frustrating, even when you know how to solve one >:O But for the most part I can get it down. Check out this guy Pogobat on youtube if you are interested in figuring out how to solve one, I watched his video and could do it easily after solving all the algorithms.

You guys are a bunch of quitters. Rubiks cubes are awesome fun.

what is your best time? and can you do anything other than a 3x3?

I dunno, I have never timed myself. And I have never used anything except 3x3. I'm old school.

lol oh. you should time yourself, makes it very exciting. And when you realize you were moving too fast for yourself and messed up, you rage 10x as hard >:O

Lol. I would time myself if i hadn't broken my rubiks cube :(

There is a method to it, once you understand how to achieve the full result.. .. some people can do it in like 20 seconds.

Lol, I just angry because I couldn't do 1. So I just got a knife, picked the square off and glued it onto another square and I win :D

I had a cube when they 1st came out in the early 80's...2 days later it was in pieces as i smashed the flipping thing against the wall....Needless to say,a complete waste of 2 days of my life!!

Rubiks cubes are not for the, lets say, less intelligent people. So i can see why you smashed it.

I haven't solved my Rubik's cube in 2 months due to boredom. However, I was able to solve it at an average of 50 seconds using the beginners method. In addition, the Rubik's cube has no relevance to intelligence. You just simply need to remember the algorithms for particular situations.

nice, I wanna try and cut it down that low, then learn more advanced algorithms to solve it in 30

My dad taught me algorithms for the Rubik's Cube back when I was in grade 8. I still fool around with it now and then, I never hit a configuration that I can't solve, although some take longer than others. My best time way back was around 45 seconds. I've never bothered looking up algorithms for it, I assume there are some better ones than those that I use.
