Motion Portrait is a new program developed by Sony which changes a person’s head into a 3D model and changes it to show emotions or move.

This has got a lot of Japanese gamers arguing whether the upcoming Sony next-gen console will incorporate the Motion Portrait software. This could prove very popular for online gaming to visualize more than a gamer name especially with the rumored Xbox Live killer that is being developed by Sony.

However the Motion Portrait is not only limited to faces as demonstrated in a demo on Japanese television which illustrated a pineapple talking and wearing sun glasses.
