Hey am Jamaicangmr (US$1,000 for the whoever can guess where am from :D) I am a stronge Playstation and Nintendo supporter that doesn't mean am against Microsoft as i am not. Am just happier with what Sony has offered as opposed to Microsoft. I enjoy havin a good discussions which are what i seek coming here. I usually have a very stronge opinion things i comment on but am always willin to be corrected but you must be open minded aswel or else you may find me offensive. I dispise pointless posts eg: PS3 rox Xbox360 sux. Wii60 4 d win and mindless comments like that. Only irritate me as they are of absolutly no value to discussion.

Hey what's up everyone!!! Came across this site when trying to get the downlow on the PS3. I currently have a Xbox 360, I'm not sayig which is better and have no opinion in the console war. The Only thing that matters to me is having a great time, playing a great game!!! I don't care what console it's on, hell if it's a fun game on the Atari Console I'm buying it.

My philosiphy: YOu cant play Halo3 on a PS3 so I got a Xbox 360, you cant play Metl Gear on a 360, so I'm getting a PS3.

My system set up;
I have a 52" Plasma with Ambient Light HDTV.
5.1 Digital Surround Sound with 4 flush mounted in wall speakers / 1 Sony Center channel speaker / and 1 12" base Sony Subwoofer all connected to a Yamaha Reciever.

I'm huge into playing games online!!! My most plaed Genre is FPS, but my favorite games ever played list is;
FFVII
ALL Tom Clancy Games!!!! I've owned every one that had been released.
Oblivion
Call of Duty
The list goes on, those were just the ones on the top of my head.

My most anticipated game for the PS3: Eight Days
Xbox 360: Gears of War

Well, I like Tom Clance games. Mainly for the multiplayer as i did point out in my post....

i was refering to rainbow six actually, splinter cell has never done bad. i love that game. especially since Sam Fisher in the very first book talks about his home in Towson, Maryland where i live also xD it describes towson towne mall and the kids there so well.

Hello guys, after reading this forum for awhile I decided to join. Just so you know, I currently own a ps2 and a gamecube (although I have nothing against the xbox). This next generation I'm looking forward for the ps3 as you may guess, but as a gamer, I hope all consoles will do well. I live in Canada, but I'm not Canadian, I'm Brazilian and no, I'm not willing to talk about soccer (or football if you prefer) for the next three years and a half.

That's pretty much it. And believe me when I say that I did read the rules before joining.

Yeah, this forum is great if your looking for more sanity on a forum. The people here arnt flaming types. This forum really keeps you up to date on everything, gives you great debates(interesting and civilized ones), and is also a pretty good community.

I joined this site simply because the Sony site is biased you're not even allowed to mention wii or 360 in a sentence lol. This seems like a great site. Hello everyone I'm Brutal Roth and I'm new the new kid on the block.
And while I would like to make a good first impression I would also like to point something out. I’m an xbox and xbox 360 fan, and I visit many different xbox forums. I use to have a PS2 (which I sold to pay for my 360) and I eventually plan on getting a PS3 (when I can find a few games the justify the purchase).

So if I’m a Microsoft and xbox fan what am I doing at a PS3 forum? Well I’m sure everyone knows that every site (for any system) is biased for whichever platform they support. I’m hear to really broaden my horizons and read the opinions of Sony fans. So I’ll just say right now I probably get into some arguments or debates with some of you as I try to bring an Microsoft fans perspective into the mix.

All and all I look forward to posting here and getting to know some of you.

I'm sort of new. I regged a while back, but didn't really pop in a ton until recently. Due to the PS3 launch, etc,etc.

Anyways I'm an avid gamer at least when I've got the time. School and life suck me away sometimes. I do like to socialize so that is one thing that does keep me away sometimes. I know...that is a paradox for a gamer, but hey I'm liv'n the dream.

Anyways I'm 23 and really only have a PS2 atm...well along with my semi-decent PC. I have some older consoles but don't really play them (Dreamcast and Sega Genesis/CD).

Other than that I don't know what else to say. Oh and I'm part of a clan for dod:s...but I don't adver that here.

Hi all, Ive been glued to this forum the past couple weeks in anticipation of getting my ps3 (cant wait)! I got a wii on release (8 hours in the cold in front of target) but I'm not enjoying it very much with out component cables:mad: especially with my new samsung 32" hdtv!...waiting for this snow storm to pass so Nintendo can ship the cables to me!

I'm a little late on this one... but anyways... i used to post on ps3portal about 2-3 years ago, that was actually the first forum i ever signed up to.

Sadly i was an idiot back then and got banned because i wasnt afraid to say whatever was on my mind even if it would get me banned eventually. Siren was the mod that banned me, if i remember correctly...

Anyways, i decided a few days ago to come and check this place out again. It seems cool and all. Still has the hall of shame and all that stuff. Pretty proud to see its still almost the same after all this time.

i had a problem with my account, so i made a new one. i never got the confrimation message for the old one. is aol the problem? because i used my gmail for this one and it worked correctly.

I had the same problem with my hotmail, but I used my home e-mail, and it worked... hence why I have exclamation marks on my username.
