All I said was that I don't agree with the 25 post rule because I came to the forum with a question...like most of us here and that this is the only forum I have been on that has this rule..... when you have a complicated question is better to start a fresh thread to get peoples attention not a "sticky thread".

Thats not what I am saying at all what I am saying is that the point of a forum is what you have a question you go to goggle and find a forum then you sign up as ask you question. well what I am saying is that this is not how it works on this forum and this is the first one i have see like this you come on the forum with a PS3 question and have to talk about someone's dog or 9/11 (so what is "spam" on a PS3 forum?) for a week before your "allowed" to ask a question so yeah in three day i have 8 posts that means by the time i have 25 posts next month I will have forgot my questions.

I'm new to all the technology stuff so I'm just sitting back and watching and seeing what I can pick up before I stick my foot in my mouth. I got a new PS3 (60GB), Dell 23" LCD tv, and a Samsung 5.1 Surround SOund. I have FNR3, Tony Hawk Project 8, Madden 07, NFS Carbon, and NBA 2K7. Been out of the gaming loop for a while but back into hard core. Got all my equiptment as a Christmas present so I had no picks and choices but planning on getting the 40" SOny HD tv from downstairs and get a bigger new one for the living room.

Well I finally got this account to work(about time dammit lol). I have been reading these forums since october and I've got to say that this is actually the only board which has minimal PS3 bashing. It's so annoying to read posts like "PS3 sucks, it's too pricey, the games suck and blu ray sucks, ps3fannies suck" on other forums. And this forum is one of the best PS forums because I can get the latest PS3 news in here.

I'm from Portugal, and I intend to buy PS3 as soon as it hits Europe, mainly because Sony has always been a personal favourite of mine.

My favourite series when it comes to the playstation are Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Metal Gear Solid, God of War, Devil Mya Cry, GTA, etc. About PS3, I really can't wait for White Knight Story, MGS4, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, VF5, Wardevil, Shin Megami, FF and DMC4, among some other multiplatform titles like Resindent Evil, Bioshock, UT and GTA.

I'm really happy about being here, because now I can discuss with all of you everything about the console, It's games, and much more.

Even with these flaws I love the Playstation. Sony is a company i have loved ever since they came out with the original playstation and i saw that copy of frogger. I knew i would be a gamer forever. Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Microsoft, ill play it anywhere anytime, from a state of the art nex-gen console to handhelds, to cellphones.

Im glad to be apart of this forum.

Hmm, I'm not actually new here, but never got around to introduce myself properly.

Right, so here it goes.

My name is Yuri, 30 years old, living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. (Also known as The Neverlands)

I've been playing games since I was 10 or something, but mostly on PC.
When I turned 21, I got a PSX and that eventually got replaced by a PS2.
During my study Interaction Design I not only played games, I was also involved in creating some storyboards and game-concepts.
Eventually I found it wasn't my cup of tea and quit.
I switched studies to something more related to HRD and work part time at an electronics store.

My favorite games include Final Fantasy X, GTA(3 and up series), Ratchet & Clank, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.
Ow, and my girlfriend keeps on rocking with Guitar Hero and she kicks my butt with Soul Calibur-3, Tekken4 and Dead or Alive. :-|

I've been reading these forums quite some time before I actually joined. And I'm glad I did. It's really the best place for me to hang around.
