Seven Pounds - Region Free?

I am wanting to purchase the movie Seven Pounds for blu-ray but the UK release is not untill late May and the US release is in a few days.

If I buy the movie from the US, can I play it on my UK PS3? I don't want to buy it now if it doesn't work. Also, how can I know if any other Blu-Ray movie is region free?

Yellow is Region A
Green is Region B
Purple is Region C

So the answer is no. Seven Pounds is Region A.

Some movies are region coded for all regions...
however, if you are ordering from amazon US, it'll most probably be Region A.
