I'm having some issues with getting movies to play properly on my psp 2000. First let me say I'm using a 'fake' mem stick not an official one so that may be the problem but not sure. Next, the various converter programs I've tried have been PSP Video 9, DvDFab, and VideoFab Converter. basically the 2 biggest issues I've been having are as follows:
1. unable to load more than one movie at a time on the stick. The first loads ok, but all attempts to load more than one movie result in 'corrupt data' being displayed where the video would be.
2. Movies stall about every 30 minutes and I have to totally shut off the PSP, restart it, and then use scene selection to get to where I left off. Some movies are stalling on me even more frequently.
3. only another small issue, but I'm also having trouble getting the psp to display the movie title properly instead of the filename.
I've been having these issues with movies ripped directly from DvD's on my PC as well as movies that I download in AVI format. Like I said, I'm looking at the non-official memory stick being the culprit so far judging by what I've read about how they misbehave when trying to load movies onto them so I'm trying to rule things out by process of elimination but I haven't forked out the $ for an official mem stick yet. Having someone tell me they've succeeded in loading full movies onto a fake stick would help me rule that out as the problem though.
