Sony Belgium: no PSN cards in Europe

Both the United States and in Japan it is already quite long use PSN cards. Many European PS3 owners yearn also to the introduction of this system in Europe. We put our ear this afternoon to listen to Sony Australia, but were unfortunately not welcome news.

Sony Australia says to be aware of the demand for PSN cards, especially in the Benelux, a region where less frequently works with Visa. The problem is it does not in any reluctance, but in quite special situation in Europe. Both the United States and Japan is a country in itself with its own rates and fees throughout the country. Europe is a complex web of dozens of countries, elks their own rates, as for example in terms of VAT. This situation makes the entire process. It will still be waiting a while before a solution is the bus cases.

Because of various tax rates it is a to big task for Sony to introduce a PSN card for Sony. How disappointing for such a big company with so many resources.

So if Microsoft can do it, why can't Sony?

Or is it because Microsoft use a "Points" system for their currency? Well, although I would love to go to the shops and buy PSN Cards, I don't mind using my Dad's credit card.

I think a point system like MS Points is needed now for the PSN, but make it less confusing e.g. £1 = 100 points, not 100 points = 85p like MS Points.

Entropay didnt work for a while, I hear it's working again now. Personally I use 3v www.3v.ie have spent hundreds on PSN and they never fail me. the same service is available for the UK and Germany right now, I dunno what services are available for your region but there should be something similar
