Area 51

There's been lots of fuss about Killzone recently but no one has really said anything about Midway's Area 51 - a game which is looking much better. You play Ethan Cole, a Hazmat (Hazardous Materials) Specialist called in to the legendary underground research facility Area 51 to investigate the leak of a deadly virus, that’s been turning government agents into mutants.

Until all hell breaks loose which constitutes aliens, gun turrets and lots of crazy gun fire. While Killzone currently suffers slightly from frame rate problems Area 51 looks just as good and runs even smoother! :shock:. Apparently One journalist at the Las Vega Gamers Day said "Yeah, but what about the PS2 version, huh?". "That is the PS2 version" was the reply!

I read about this in PSM, I am really looking forward to it. Area 51 is an arcade classic, it'll be interesting to see it like a typical FPS this time.
