-Famed RTS maker Ensemble Studios (Age of Empires series) is hiring for an "Xbox Live" project. Could be the MMORPG it has in the early stages.
- Starbreeze Studios, longtime friends of Xbox with Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and the potential-packed 360 adaptation The Darkness, will be taking the reins on a hot first-person-shooter franchise that you'll be getting very familiar with later this year.
-Updating from a previous tip: The Mole can now confrim that the sick-looking mulitplayer shooter Enemy Territory: Quake Wars wil indeed be hitting 360.
-D3 Publishing has signed up developer Digital Extremes to bring Dark Sector to 360 Q3 2007.
-Valve Software pledges support to 360 for future game releases. So could a tricked-out (read: HDR-lighting enabled) Half-Life 2 + Episode One + Counter-Strike: Source bundle be in the offing? Perhaps, or maybe the multiplayer-oriented Team Fortress 2?
-Dungeon Explorer, the old-school four-player Gauntlet-style dungeon-crawler will be returning in next-gen form on 360.
COVER STORY: F.E.A.R.
Feedback from F.E.A.R. fans gave Vivendi plenty of opportunity to further refine the atmosphere and gameplay after last year's PC release, whittling down what didn't work and "dialing up the creep factor", while tweaking the combat tactics and weapons...Set to include a spanking-new Bonus Mission..."Instant Action" lets you drop into combat into many of the game's many ingeniuous enviornmental set-pieces, plus new ones, for stat-tracking + Achievements, to compare your prowess (or lack thereof) to other folks' via Leaderboards...The 360 version has multiplayer combat (supporting up to 16 players)...Long before the 360 version was announced, the editors were shown a very early build which ran at 30fps with A.I., physics, and particle effects intact - running on just one core..."To see F.E.A.R. running in HD at 720p in widescreen is just awesome!" developer.
In depth previews: Bioshock, Dead Rising, Phantasy Star Universe, Bomberman: Act Zero, Chromehounds, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

This game looks great. I'm not that surprised because ID does like the 360 alot.
The 360 is looking more in more awesome each day. For the people who saying they are giving up on it need to be more patient.

If the mole is correct, then I guess Carmack found a way to fit several Mega-Textures onto one DVD. And they said it couldn't be done...

ya which another PC games ported, How many games does 360 has that not on PC? Its going be a while.
I doubt this is confirm news at all. At E3 they are still stating this is coming for PC.
Sweet! Quake Wars has the potential to be THE next multiplayer shooter.
Wahey. Another FPS. Another PC port.
Come on MSFT. Give me something that forces me to buy the 360.

Its good but the point is its not forcing me to buy the 360. I can play it on my PC (will be getting a new one in September), so it is not pulling me in. I am yet to see a true killer game exclusive (that does not mean PC/360) to the 360. But there are a couple of games in development that have the potential to do so.

If the ps3 is such a good computer, why not just buy a 360, instead of your pc. then get the PS3.
You know there will be 360 games you really will want to play in the future.

I know there will be some 360 games that I really want to play in the future but there are/will be more on the PS3. Out of the announced games list there are loads of PS3 titles that really appeal to me. I can only afford one console but a new PC is a necessity. I'm off to uni' come the end of September and I will need a PC that can run my programming tools and lunix quickly. Also, if Lunix on the PS3 is all that its cracked up to be i could have a lot of fun experimenting with that  .
I was going to get a 360 at the end of this month but then I realised the fact that I will be getting a monster PC so really, there is not much point in getting one still. I may get one once I graduate and they are low in price though :D .

I agree. Why should i buy an Xbox 360? Except for Lost Planet? To play with my friends? No....not with Live anywhere coming. I will be able to play the same game on my pc than on the 360 and play against my friends on Xbox Live.
Xbox must become the place to play some good exclusives games if they want to make the console more appealing.

That's what Gears of War, Mass Effect, Chromehounds, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Fable 2, Forza 2, Kameo, PD0, Viva Pinata, Halo, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Cry On, Enchanted Arms, etc. are for ;)

Is this all good exclusives games? Humm not sure they are all exclusive and/or good. By good i mean system seller games.
GoW, Fable 2, Mass effect, Halo 3 and Forza 2 can be system seller but i think that GoW, Fable 2 and Mass effect will end on the pc sooner than later.
and please don't mention enchanted arms...it look really bad. The other one in the list are by no mean bad games. Lost planet is one of the game i look forward the most but don't think it will make a big impact on the sale of the Xbox360.
But don't get me wrong, im not saying the Xbox360 don't have good games. My point is more Will the Xbox360 keep there exclusive game exclusive.
Halo always ends up on the PC sooner or later as well  .
Out of the games that Aleman listed these are the only ones that I will want; Mass Effect, Lost Planet, Fable 2, Forza 2 Blue Dragon. Not enough to warrant the purchase of a console at that price just yet IMO. For the PS3 I can list over 10 announced exclusive titles that I know I will want. All boils down to preference. Not saying that the 360 doesn't have enough exclusives, because they are there, but they just don't peak my interest in the way a lot of the PS3 exclusives do.

All boils down to preference, exactly. For me, I can name 10 PS3 titles that I will need to own...but they wouln't be released for awhile, so I'm not going to buy a PS3 for awhile.
If you have a kick arse PC and you like playing games on the computer, then by all means go for it. A lot of these titles will be on PC.
But if you're like me and your computer sucks and you wouldn't spend $600 on a graphics card if it cooked your dinner for you, then you're better off buy a console (and a 360 if you like those PC games + FPS + many others).
But going back on topic, not sure if Quake Wars on the 360 is such a surprise. Afterall it's an id game developed by Carmack. In fact, I'd be very surprise if this game didn't make it on the 360.
Another game mentioned is "Dark Sector". I've read about this game forever, at least 3 years ago before the HD consoles were even announced. It was actually the first HD game I'd heard off but it seems like they've been devloping it forever. Q3 2007 is like a long way off.
Anyone else heard and curious about this game?
Oh boy,
So many great games you're going to be able to play in all high settings with a $400 hardware and a kick-arse On-Line system.
The Xbox 360 is looking more and more sexy each day.
If this is confirmed as an exclusive in consoles, it will be another magistral left jab from Microsoft.
So... another FPS game? Ummm.... Yay?

Not really, this is just the same as Gears of War and Halo. They bring some people to Xbox (the millions of people who bought Xbox only for Halo), but leave most PS gamers wanting for something else.

So, a 3rd person shooter, a RPG with lots of shooting (:P but really, I AM waiting for Mass Effect, just not as much when I heard about the shooting part), shooting with mechs involved, action (Dead Rising looked cool, one of the few games that did), 3rd person shooting, RPG from Molyneux -> overpromising under delivering with straightforward running around, racing (PS3 will get those too, so Forza ain't anything special, even if it's good), a mediocre single player FPS, weird game, FPS, one of the most interesting RPG games we know nothing about, RPG from Artoon (Artoon is also developing Yoshi's Island 2, I'm not too happy about that) -> Artoon really has to prove themselves because Blinx-games were not that good, another (action?) RPG we know nothing about, a mediocre RPG. That's really too much shooting. I'll wait after TGS to see which console has more interesting NON-FPS/-3rd person shooter/racing or some other sports games. And I really do put the emphasis on the fact, that PS3 isn't even out yet. We have more promising PS3 atm than Xbox 360 had a year ago.

Lots and lots of goodies coming to the 360. With a price drop being announced next year at E3 for the 360 I just do not see many passing this up. Alan Wake and now this one on top of Mass Effect,Halo 3,Forza 2,Gears of War,...oh I need to stop now!. :)
So... another FPS game? Ummm.... Yay?

That's your opinion and it's respectable, but I can guarantee you right now that there were tons of PS3 fans willing for this game to come to the console and I bet they still hope so.
The Xbox brand is not a shooter-only-console anymore but still holds the best of that genre on it which is always good wherever you look it at from.
To end with, I'd highly recommend you to use paragraphs, walls of text are scary.

Gregor and G_H_G, by the time you buy a $2000+ dollar PC that can run at 360 quality and a PS3 that 'doesn't need a PC', you'll have shelled out more than $2,600 -- the cost of a $400 Xbox 360 and 34 $60 games. You do the math.

The way I look at it is that there will always be AAA titles on both systems, what you call "system sellers." and most people including myself already own a PC, so being that I am not what most people would call a "true gamer" but more of an average Joe that plays videogames every once in a while, it would be smarter for me to choose the PS3 over the 360. 25% of the descision was made because of bluray, and the other 75% of the descision was made due to free online, standard harddrive and tilt sensor controllers

Did you not read my post above. I have to shell out on a £1000 PC. I have no choice. That means I only have money left to buy one console and that one will be the PS3. The fact that most 360 games come out on the PC as well just makes me getting a 360 right now even more pointless.

I am with you here, I got decent PC and most 360 games were on PC. So I rather get this games on PC.

i understand these points but for me with a HD tv, give me a 32 inch HD version on my 360 on my sofa than on a 19 inch version on keyboard and mouse.
Platfrom games etc, dont work on pc for me, with no gamepad.
Plus the 360 pad is so sweet, i supose you could buy one for pc, but in reality let me sit on my sofa nice and comfy, wireless pad and my nice big TV :D
Id rather buy a 360, a good HDTV and buld a pc for like 300 pounds which kick ass at word processing etc. than buy a really expensive pc that will be out of date GAMES wise within a year. trust me ive done it.
theres nothing worse than spending 450 pounds on a geforce 6800 ultra on the day of release only to find out 8 months later its superseeded and probs worth about 250 pounds :S

 I hate that. I got my current PC 4 years ago. It has a 40GB HDD 256mb ram and a Geforce 5500fx. That was pushing top of the range when I 1st got it and it cost £900. Now its worth nothing  .
Great games for the XBOX360 IMO.
HALO 3, Mass Effect, Forza 2, Gears of War, Over G Fighters, Alan Wake, Rockstar Table Tennis, Lost Planet, Splinter Cell Double Agent, Just Cause, Crackdown, GRAW, Top Spin2, FNR3, PGR3, NFS:MW, Haze, Rainbow 6 Vegas, Strangle Hold, COD3, Brothers In Arms, Lost Lost Odyssey & GTA off the top of my head
Great games for the PS3 IMO.
Killzone 3, Motor Storm, Tekken 6, Resident Evil 5, 8 Days, Brothers In Arms, Virtua Tennis 3, Strangle Hold, Virtua Fighter 5, Naughty Dog & GT5 off the top of my head.
As for topic Enemy Territory: Quake Wars sounds cool and can't wait to see more on this.

The probleme will be to find 34 games that i want to buy. And dont forget you can upgrade a pc, dont have to buy a new one each time. My opinion is ill keep my pc and my money cause pc and xbox360 got almost the same game. So i can play xbox360/pc games on my pc and buy the ps3.
and i dont think ill ever buy 34 games for any console.

Then that's only viable in your own particular case. For almost everyone else, Mintieri maths apply perfectly.

Warner’s upcoming fright-fest F.E.A.R.3 has been elbowed back to May 2011, having originally been pencilled in for release on March 25.
News comes via a post from a forum administrator on Fearfans.com, who wrote: "The F.E.A.R. 3 launch date will now be in May 2011, as we look to deliver the best possible game for our fans."
"Thanks for the patience, I promise it will be worth it."
Sadly, this marks the second time the game’s release has been postponed. Warner first intended to have the horror sequel on shelves in winter 2010, before announcing it had been shoved back to 2011 in August last year.
F.E.A.R. 3 places gamers in the shoes of evil Alma’s offspring Point Man and Paxton Fettel, with the game throwing in co-op play for the first time in the series. Both characters sport their own unique abilities, with one favouring firearms while the other wields the powers of telekinesis.
