well guys since i moved to the New place i had to change my Broadband from
Fibre optic to ADSL+2 broadband. but anyway everytime i try to go online on BFBC i get a Joining Game Message for about a minute then it says Connection Problem please check your network Connection and Try again
so i hard wired my PS3 to the Wireless Router but im still getting the same problem so any Help would be great thanks.

P.s this is the only game that i have this Problem on. every other game either PS3/360 works fine

Are you with AOL by anychance? because they block p2p traffic which effects connecting to the EA servers, i can play from around 1am to early morning any other time i can't connect.

I had this for a while. Try turning UPnP (I think thats what its called) on if you havn't. Dunno why but when I fiddled around with it it seemed to work for me.

I might have disabled the media server connection too but I can't remember now...

You could try putting your ps3 into DMZ if you havent already, it will open all the ports on the ps3 but since it's not a computer you don't have to worry about getting viruses etc

cheers mate il try that now

mate your a Legend it worked thanks +rep im sure the uPnP was on anyway as it said Available on the Settings list so it must have been the Media Connection settings that had to be turned off as well

EDIT i have to Spread some Rep around Tris before i can give it to yer so il rep everyone who replyed in this Thread

Try putting the PS3 into a DMZ.

I have it like that and every game works fine (unless if it's a server issue).
