Well, it is still the most played game on xbox live, for the original xbox.

From what I recall from 10 years ago, this game was going to be a mac exclusive game.

Never did get the hype for this series..got the first one on my PC, it really is just a standard FPS.

It did wonders for the console, not PC. There was nothing decent out on consoles at the time other than Socom but they're not in direct competition.

Well, for 8 years ago, on PC, you're right. Eight years ago, on consoles, it was the best FPS, period.

Yea, it's 10 years since it was shown I guess. Definitely a fan video. Halo was released Nov. 11, 2001.

excellent video, saw it on joystiq earlier today. man this game has some awesome music, it really gets you in the mood to play!

ahhh, thanks for the link.. awesome. So it is a 10 year anniversary of the announcement of Halo. Still an amazing game.

Kick *** friggin video, I still remember being 11 years old and playing the original Halo when it came out, it blew me away.
