Hey all I have a few questions about Resi 1 on PSN. (The PS1 game)
1. Is this the version that has vibration and anologe stick support?
2. What does it look like on a HDTV?
3. How does the gameplay hold up to today's standards?

Its the same wack graphics from the 90's when it released and bad acting so do not waste your time buying it if you have a gamecube or wii get the versions for them. Its way better for those 2 systems thanks.

I have the game on disc and I played it recently, but unfortunately I played RE4, 2, and 3 before it so for me, the game play became a lot more annoying than it already is.

Yes it has analogue and vibrate (bring up in game menu and then simply go to controller settings)
It looks pretty fine on my HDTV, infact i think it looks better then my disc version from memory but then agan that may just be my love of RE1 shining through XD
Some people claim the controls are bad and gameplay is clunky compared to modern titles but imo this is FINE, it gives more of a limited way to react and so makes the game a bit more scary (although the blocky graphics are pretty laughable now xD), once you get used to it its got a pretty solid gameplay mechanic only hindered by strange camera angles to give more of a horror effect and clunky movement

I did buy it in the end and I love it!
I like old games so I don't mind the graphics and the horrible voice acting. The game wouldn't be the same without either of them!
And no I don't want the remake it has not got the Jill Sandwich line:snicker
@ Hova - I wasn't asking what the graphics were like. I know it is a PS1 game. I was asking what it would look like on a HDTV. I am not interested in the remakes at all. The classics are where it is at!

Never played Resident Evil, just YouTube'd that to find the clip...
My teeth are itching with the uncomfort that scene brings to me!
